The marina is back in the most protected cove on Lake Travis. After many years of drought that gripped the Central Texas area and held Lake Travis at some amazingly low levels. The marina is not as big as it use to be considering some of the docks are now a part of Crosswater Yacht club, HHM’s sister marina on Lake Travis. CYC also serves at the gas dock and store for all the boaters needs, just one mile away on the main body of the lake, just outside of Hurst Creek.
The hours of operation for dry stack are as they always have been and it does not mean you can not access your boat at any hour, just when you can ask to have it brought down. Someone just did not understand how the system worked and posted here for some reason. The marina staff can also provide a covered wet slip to use for the weekend or week if available. Nick Shepherd is now the marina manager and is doing a great job providing excellent service to everyone wet slip or dry stack.
Monthly newsletters have been going out since October of 2009 to all the clients keeping everyone well informed of the operation hours and charity fundraising for Folds of Honor. Our mission is to provide the best service on Lake Travis and do so while changing the lives of others by fundraising for such a great charity.

Working with this Marina is very easy. Like making a deal with your family. I almost feel bad enjoying the the ease of dry dock. Like i am cheating the system of launching! Seriously. Shawn is such a hard worker, but never annoyed with questions even when he is duper busy. Nick has been very easy to work with. The bathrooms are clean. The working docks are free of spider webs and bird nests. The family oriented harbor is tucked in safe from main body elements. Why wouldn’t you want to be “where every body knows your name”. Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I have been a HHM and CYC customer for around 17 years and three boats from a 20′ runabout, 43′ cabin cruiser, to our current 25′ bowrider. In every case, I have been made to feel special and looked after. No other marina has shown me anything even close to the level of care and service that these sister marinas do. We bought a boat (mainly my adult children use while we watch grandkids – ok with that ) and unfortunately a marina we were in was damaged by a storm We moved to Hurst . It’s a great marina both physically and management. You get a golf cart ride to the dock which is in fantastic shape . They sit back in a cove and you have a very long no wake zone . It adds a few minutes going out but the boat is very protected from storms and crazy boaters. Nick is great as is staff met Hayden (hope it is right dry dock manager ) . They have an extensive dry dock operation as well. A few minutes drive to a great on lake store with every YETi product and has gas and you get 10% off . There’s a waiting list for for dry dock I was told but the slips are great .Anyway we became Covid boaters at the right time because the boat prices are seriously crazy – I think our pontoon is worth more used then the purchase price. It’s a great part of lake for family. You head out can be anchored in calm waters very quickly. Turn left and head towards Lakeway and water sports are much easier . Highly recommend
