Lakeway A/C & Heating almost exclusively services the Lake Travis area. This gives us the ability to respond to calls much more efficiently than if we serviced all of Austin. Customer service is our #1 priority. We have established a great reputation and plan on keeping it that way. If something is not right, we will not rest until you are happy.

  4. We had a last minute issue with our AC over the weekend. They showed up timely, properly diagnosed the problem and efficiently fix the problem all at a reasonable price. We had other companies misdiagnose the problem and failed to properly repair the issue. They are my new AC company.

  5. Our AC quit Sunday 7/31/23 at around 4pm, with a fault code (54). I called Lakeway AC&H and they were the only people, out of six different calls, who answered. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the person’s name I talked to. They explained that they couldn’t get to me, but then they took the time to talk through some tips and simple things we could try along with our search for someone available on a Sunday night !-(. They were very professional and super helpful as they could be given the circumstances. That is honest customer service. Thank you sir.

  9. Wow! What great service and timely too, given the demands they must have now with the temps soaring to 100. Our upstairs system went out and their technician, Ray, responded with a very professional and caring explanation of what needed to be done. I was very impressed with his proficiency and knowledge. Ray is definitely an asset to this company. I would highly recommend Lakeway A/C and Heating to anyone needing a reliable service for their home A/C needs.

  10. Our A/C unit went out last night. Called late this morning and Ray was at the house a little after 2 pm. Diagnosed the problem in about ten minutes, fixed it in another fifteen minutes and our unit was humming cold again! He explained as he went, was thoroughly professional and personable, and the price was certainly reasonable. It is obvious this is a wonderful business and we’re lucky to have them.

  11. Our AC went out overnight and they were able to come out to our house by lunchtime to diagnose and fix the problem. Miguel was very professional and took the time to explain our problem to us and what items may need maintenance in the near future.

He spent lots of time giving me advice on air conditioning my garage, going through all the options, and even offered to let me borrow one of their portable AC units to see if it would be enough cooling for me. As a Lakeway resident, I will for sure be doing business with them in the future!

  14. My AC went out on a Sunday evening and was sure it was going to be a long night. I was referred to them by a friend and gave them a call. Not only did they show up on a Sunday, but they were there in 15 minutes. The repair costs were very reasonable and I had the AC cold before we had to put the kids to bed. Thanks for the quick and professional service!

  15. The a/c stopped blowing air late Thursday night. I called Lakeway A//C and heating around 800 am Friday morning. Kelly was at the house by 10am and diagnosed the problem quickly. A new blower motor was needed. The part was purchased by 1100 by one of his colleagues who was already at the parts warehouse. He finished his two other calls in the neighborhood and was back by 300. He worked steadily until 600 or so. Job done!!  Efficiently. Fair price. And Kelly is very personable. He explained the job to me step by step. Lakeway A/C and Heating  is now my go to HVAC company.

  17. We are remodeling our house and decided to replace AC/heating unit while ceiling and walls were open. I went by their office and the next day they came out to give us a quote.  They worked with us in getting old stuff out and a few days later got the new unit installed. They were very professional, on time,cleaned up and explained everything we needed to know.  We are very glad we went with this company and would highly recommended them.

I have had 3 different companies come to my house over the last year and none have been to able fix my air conditioning properly, (not radiant, not lake Travis a/c and another one I can’t remember) it would work for about 4 months and then I’d be back to square one again. Having Multiple Sclerosis, it’s really important that the temperature be well controlled in my home or it adversely affects my health.I called and they were out just 3 hours later. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the situation. They replaced my coil the following day. James Morris over there was awesome to work with, super knowledgable and very helpful. So happy to have my system working properly again! What took them a day to fix, 3 companies couldn’t after multiple visits and a year and half of trying. Thank you!

Lakeway A/C gave me really great service and response.  I tried several other companies first and got voice mail and no return call.  I called Lakeway A/C and talked to a person at 11:30 at night, had a service man here before 9 the next morning, and had my A/C fixed and cooling by 9:30.  This company has won my business and the price was less than I expected.  I thought I was in for a couple of days of hot, uncomfortable living, or bunking out on my daughters couch, instead I’m relaxing in the cool comfort of my home.  Hard to think that any company can be better at customer service, Lakeway A/C is the best I’ve ever experienced.

  23. Simply amazed at their customer service! We came home on Mothers a Day Sunday night and our AC was out! Called Chris and he was at our home in about an hour and had our AC working in just a few minutes! He was so nice and charged us a VERY fair price for Sunday service! The have a new customer for life!!

These guys were excellent.  The previous contractor told me that I needed to have the entire coil replaced.  The cost of the job was estimated at $1,200.  Lakeway said that I was down a half pound of freon and didn’t charge me.  The system works great as it had before.  I’m so glad that I got a second opinion with Lakeway.

Chris at Lakeway AC & Heating is the best!  He came out to our house on Sunday morning to look at our unit that stopped working the night before.  He did an excellent job of explaining the problem and giving us multiple options, never once pushing us to the more expensive option.  Since we knew the unit was not very high quality and wasn’t efficiently cooling our entire house, we opted for a complete replacement of the system, knowing in the long run it will pay off.  The price quoted for a high quality Lennox system was extremely fair and today we got our new system.  That is just three days after Chris’ first visit.  They would have been there yesterday if it hadn’t been for the rain.  Chris also completed all of the documentation necessary for us to get rebates from PEC.  First class service all around!
