I just got off the phone with Cliff at Boat Town service. He was able to go the extra mile to get my NXT22 back to me in time for the great weather this weekend, despite how busy they are with the San Antonio boat show. I give them 5 stars not only because of this experience but every experience I’ve had. Their whole team is very knowledgeable, friendly, and treat you like you are their only customer. In my experience, this is very rare for this industry. It also doesn’t hurt that they sell two of the best boat brands you can buy. I’ve have purchased both Mastercrafts and Cobalts from them and both have been a joy to own. Much of this feeling comes from that fact that I know Boat Town always has my back!

This was our first time dropping our X45 off for service here. Cliff and staff did and oil change, transmission fluid changed and took a look at my trailer brakes. There was an issue with the price charged vs what was quoted but cliff corrected it. Service was done at a reasonable price, I got the part I needed for my ballast tank and my boat was detailed. Overall a very good experience.

So far in my 12 years of boat ownership I have hated & resented every single boat mechanic I have worked with. It’s always 4x over budget & still broken. Boat Town is the exception. They completed the work way faster than expected, & $400 less than the quote! They also returned my boat clean, unlike most of the peers in Austin, I am very impressed. There was also zero pressure to trade in, unlike some places. They even complimented my boat & said I should wait a few more years. Every other place makes you feel like it’s dangerous to return to the water & if you don’t get a new boat you will pretty much die. I really like these guys a lot, a Gem in the rough world of boat maintenance!
