The 3rd Annual LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour starts on the air strip of the historic LBJ Ranch on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 9:00 AM. ROT Biker Rally
One of the largest and most well-know motorcycle rallies in the country celebrate its fifteenth year in Austin. Every year ROT attracts over 200,000 motorcycle enthusiasts to Central Texas, creating an economic impact of $36 million dollars for Austin. For four days each summer, Austin is transformed by a sea of steel and a refrain of rumbling from over 40,000 motorcycles pounding the pavement. Friday night features one of the largest motorcycle parades leading to the outdoor party in the heart of downtown Austin, complete with free live music and vendors. Lago Vista Firecracker 5K and Fun Run
This Fourth of July, why run in the city when you can run in beautiful, senic Lago Vista on the north shore of Lake Travis! The 5K course isn't your typical race: it features gorgeous views of the lake and terrain. There are slight hills, as well as downhill portions. Come experience the running community of Lago Vista, an overlooked, but excellent training ground. Austin Bat Run 5K
In 1980, a team of engineers designing the Congress Avenue bridge unknowingly created crevices that would soon become the home to the largest urban bat colony in North America. In celebration of an Austin original, the Austin Bat Run 5K will convene on the north shore of Lady Bird Lake at the Buford Bell Tower. The Austin Triathlon
Imagine a world class triathlon held in the front yard of one of the most active and outgoing cities in the US. Imagine a large event with the atmosphere and intimacy of a small hometown race. Imagine biking down the most historic street in Texas. Imagine the fun. That is The AVIA Austin Triathlon. The olympic distance course is a 1500 meter swim, 40 Km bike, and a 10 Km run. The sprint course is a 700 meter swim, 27 Km bike, and 5 Km run. Both events will use the same course. The Olympic distance will complete 3 laps on the bike course, and 2 laps on the run course. The sprint distance will complete 2 laps on the bike course, and 1 lap on the run course.

A six-person open water, swimming relay race. Point to point course, approximately 12 miles. Six swimmers per team will each complete a 20-minute leg, then a 15-minute leg, then 10-minute legs until their team has completed the designated course.
