The 18-hole course at the Lakeway Country Club facility in Austin, Texas features 6,814 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Leon Howard, the Yaupon golf course opened in 1977.

Well kept, fun golf course. This place does not skimp on anything and makes the experience great. Not to mention they have an ice machine and water right at the first tee to help you stay hydrated.

First off, I’m not a regular golfer. I just started playing and I am by no means any good or know any correct golfer lingo. I played 18 holes here for the first time two days ago and I really enjoyed this course. There is a clubhouse that serves drinks and food. They also have a “beer cart” that drives around. I like that bc I needed more ice for my cooler and for my drinks. The bathrooms are located on hole 4 and 13, so plan your potty breaks. The course was very nice, well laid out. The green was cut short and the course was kept up. There are some serious golfers here, so watch out if you’re like me and you move at a slower pace. They catch up w/ you quickly and they don’t like waiting. You can let them move in front of you if you like. Overall, I enjoyed the course and will definitely be returning.
