Shawn Lee Stamps at Lucky Rabbit

Shawn Lee Stamps was born in a rural community just outside of a little music town called Muscle Shoals, nestled on the banks of the Tennessee River in Northwest Alabama.

Known for the likes of Percy Sledge, George Jones and the Super Group Shenandoah, Muscle Shoals has a rich history of music.

Shawn grew up cutting his teeth among hall of fame musicians such as Travis Wammack, and hit songwriters like Billy Lawson and Ed Hill.

After the tragic loss of life long friend and wife, Melissa, Shawn moved to Texas and continues to write songs with the unique sound that from the first note takes us back to the days of Waylon Jennings, Billy Joe Shaver and Kris Kristopherson.

Shawn carries on a tradition of Living the songs that he writes. Shawn Lee was nominated in 2023 for “Entertainer of the Year” by the Mississippi Music Foundation and has numerous top 100 charting songs by the Texas Country Music Association, his highest peaking at #56. Shawn Currently resides just outside of Austin,Texas.
