Paella Cooking Class-Arboretum

Want to learn all the secrets to cook the best Paella with Paella’s Tapas & More, how to listen for the socarrat, the four key ingredients, and how to drink from a porron like a Spaniard? Well join us as we welcome back Chef Fer Candil of Paellas, Tapas & More for an authentic Spanish paella cooking class! The demo will include a brief education about extra virgin olive oils & aged balsamic vinegars then Chef Fer will demonstrate the authentic Spanish recipes below. This class is interactive so be prepared to jump in and help make your Paella!
– Paella Valenciana from scratch with seafood & chicken

Chilled water will also be served. You are welcome to purchase a bottle of wine before the event as well. After the event we will open up our shop for your own personal shopping & tasting tour.

About Chef Fer:
Fer is the Chef at Paellas, Tapas & More. Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, she also lived in Cadiz (South Spain), and in Santiago de Compostela (North Spain).
Chef Fer began learning to cook traditional Spanish food at an early age from her mother. She continues to use the same recipes that her family has passed down orally from mother to daughter for generations.
Fer takes pride teaching these recipes to her five children. Fer continues to develop her cooking talents attending various culinary programs and through private lessons with professional Chefs in Spain. She started teaching cooking classes for kids and adults 12 years ago.
