Mastering Fish- 3 Week Hands-On Series with Chef Heidi Wittenborn
Fish is a high-protein, low-fat food that provides a range of health benefits. But did you know that 70% of Americans ONLY eat fish in restaurants, and rarely, if ever, cook it at home?
We’re looking to change that! In this 3-week hands-on class series, Chef Heidi will be exploring cooking fish.
This hand-on class gives you the chance to learn about selecting the best fish and great ways to prepare it. You’ll learn how to fillet a fish and learn some cooking techniques that you may not have tried before.
We’ll be working with mild white-fleshed fish like trout, catfish, and mahi mahi as well as salmon and tuna.
Chef Heidi will teach you how to set up the perfect smoked salmon platter, cook fish en papillote, make fish cakes, sear the perfect tuna steak served with Sauce Vierge and more.
This class will also explore a few raw preparations that are not sushi – Ceviche, Crudos, Poke Bowls, and Tartares.
Class will meet for 3 consecutive Saturdays (May 13, 20 and 27th) from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
The cost for this hands-on series is $199.00 per person.SEE MORE
