“Live on Lake Travis” Summer Concert Cruise Series: Swing Dance Party Cruise with Waller Creek Vipers

Join us for a swing dancin’ good time as we launch off for an amazing 4-hour party cruise on Lake Travis with the Waller Creek Vipers!

This is the launch event for our 2024 “Live on Lake Travis” Summer Concert Cruise Series, and we’d love for you to join!

We’ll provide ice water, cups, coolers full of ice, bubbles, koozies, name tags, and 3 giant lily pad floats to relax in beautiful Lake Travis!

We’ll be entertained by the incredibly fun and talented Waller Creek Vipers, your favorite Austin swing band, who will play 2 sets throughout the 4 hours on the water!

We’ll board and get ready to depart from Anderson Mill Marina at 4pm, and leave by 4:30 at the latest! We’ll cruise for about an hour, then stop along the Cypress Creek nature preserve and enjoy the amazing water for a couple hours while we swim, dance, snack, drink slowly, hydrate, make new friends, and enjoy the amazing scenery and company!

We’ll start off the cruise with a short swing dance lesson, and then set y’all loose to do what you want, dance if you like, teach someone some moves, and show off if you’re real good.

Waller Creek Vipers:
Victor Celania, the organizer of the band, started dancing in 2003 and fell in love with the music of the hot jazz, swing, big band and jump blues eras. Upon moving to Austin in 2011, he decided he wanted to put a band together to play specifically for dancers. His journey has taken him and the band to Charleston, SC, Atlanta, GA, Tulsa, OK, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX and San Antonio, TX, in addition to Austin. The band continues to strive for a period-accurate but unique sound and to keep the dancers on their feet!
