Jazz Daddies

The Jazz Daddies are a Jazz ensemble based in Austin, Texas. Formed in 2012, we play upbeat and fun Jazz that spans the range of the genre from standards and swing to bebop, blues, and funk.

Recorded in Austin at Wire Recording, our latest CD, Moontower Nights, features 10 original Jazz tunes. The music is guitar driven and was composed by band leader and guitarist Randy Larkin. Contributing artists on the CD include Jazz Daddies Marty Mitchell on bass, Kenny Felton on drums, Andrew Malay playing sax, Shane PItsch on trumpet and Gary Feist on bass.

The Jazz Daddies frequently perform at festivals in the Central Texas area. In 2021 the band headlines on the main stage at the Round Rock Chalk Art Walk Festival at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. The Jazz Daddies have been featured at Texas festivals such as:
