Utopian Cruises is the oldest continuously owned and operated Lake Travis houseboat rental and charter service. We are not a bare boat rental, but rather a full service crewed houseboat charter service specializing in custom houseboat cruises to fit every need.
Utopia was a Showboat for the manufacturer, Stardust Cruisers, and has since been updated with new flooring, countertops, and window treatments. This 78ft. luxury yacht offers the ultimate in boating comfort and conveniences. The 52 ft. cabin length includes a modern, fully equipped kitchen including a four burner ceramic top stove, large oven, microwave, coffee maker, crock pots, dishes, flatware, cookware & probably any utensil you might need. Food preparation is usually done by customer with help from Utopian Cruises staff, if needed. Catering is available should your plans require this service.
A large sumptuous sofa, two recliner chairs, and a coffee table occupy one side of the salon across from the entertainment center featuring a top of the line, custom sound system. The system includes a five disk CD changer, tuner, DVD player and a 32′′ color TV. The sound system has area volume controls on the front, rear, and upper decks, and the main salon.
A spacious front deck includes a glass top table set with four chairs and the rear deck offers easy access to the water with a 3ft swim platform and ladder. For the swimmers Utopia has numerous noodles and inflatables (inflator on hand). A 12 ft. water slide is a favorite activity. The carpeted upper deck has a large 7’X7’ hot tub with seating for 6 and a propane grill. The upper deck also has two permanently set up tables with a third available, if needed, and approximately 30 chairs. All functions are hosted by the owners of the business – Mitch & Louise Phillips
