Boater Education Certification Class

TWO DAY COURSE: Wednesdays, May 3rd AND May 10th!
(MUST attend both evenings to get your Boater Education Certification)

Sign up for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Boater Education Course and get ready for summer fun on Lake Travis!
Boater Education is required for anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 to operate certain vessels on Texas waterways. This two day course will end with a test. Once passed, you will receive your boater education certificate. Anyone with a motor boat, personal watercraft, hydrofoil, pontoon etc. out on the lake needs to have this information! And if you have a teen that loves to use a personal watercraft alone, they’ll need to have this certification starting at age 13!

Instructor Kimberly Sorensen, from TX Parks & Wildlife, will be leading the classes & proctoring the exam.
Dinner is provided on both evenings. The exam will take place at the end of the second day of instruction. Passing the test earns the certification for the course.

Upon passing, participants will be entered into a drawing for a terrific prize to help get you ready for this summer!
