Great great time!!!! We did the 2 hour 2 person introduction efoil lesson and had an amazing time. Our instructor was AMAZING. She talked through everything on land first so once we were on the water it was time to start learning. Everything is provided and they had a nice setup with headphones and mics hooked to the helmets where we were constantly in communication with our instructor and laughing with each other. We were both able to get standing and even get some hydrofoiling in on the first session. I can’t say enough good things about our instructor Mikaela or Paul who runs the operation. All the gear was top notch and we will certainly be doing this again!

Such a fun thing to do!!!

I was able to learn how to stand and ride on my first lesson in lake Travis, then on the second time I was doing it, I could rent the board without taking a lesson with an instructor and just did it by my own and it felt great!
Now I’m considering buying a new one to own.

Highly recommended, Paul is a great guy!

We had the great pleasure of joining Paul out on the water recently for a first time adventure e foiling. It was the absolute best time! He set us up with gear and did a phenomenal job orienting us to the equipment. He’s a wonderful coach and had us up and running on the water in minutes. We loved every second of it and can’t wait to get back out there and e foil more! We’re hooked!! If you have the opportunity, we’d highly recommend joining him for a lesson!!

My friend and I took lessons with Ben and it was an awesome experience! He was there early and had everything setup for us when we arrived. We had a quick ground school to cover basics and safety and then got into lake Austin. Within a few minutes we were up and foiling (and falling). Over our 90 minute lesson, Ben gave a bunch of tips that got us cruising and making full 180 turns, only falling about half the time. I went out a second time with Paul on a smaller board and wing and had a blast. By the end of it, I had found my balance point on the board, was able to cruise wherever I wanted, and do circles. I fell in love with the sport and ordered a board from Lift. Thanks Ben and Paul for introducing me to this amazing sport!

My wife and I recently took a lesson with Paul from Unhooked Sports while we were investigating alternatives to watercraft that aren’t your typical boats and jetskis. Efoiling looked like a ton of fun and we weren’t let down at all 🙂 Paul was a really great instructor, he gave us plenty of time to learn how to efoil. He was very informative, patient, encouraging, and a very active instructor who was always attentive to our progress. He was great at pointing out things you could try differently to improve, showing you how to do it, and relating your learning process to his own initial start with efoiling. Efoiling isn’t the easiest thing in the world to learn but Paul did a great job of getting us standing up on the boards during our lesson. Neither of us had any previous experience that would really translate to efoiling such as skateboarding or snowboarding so we were really pleased at how quickly we were able to get up on the board. Once you’re up and standing on the efoil it’s unlike any other water sport you’ve ever tried. We highly recommend trying out efoiling, it’s extremely fun and addictive! We also highly recommend Paul and Unhooked Sports, it was a truly great and memorable experience!
