  1. Lovely rooms with nice amenities – stayed for the Christmas holiday and the hotel lovely!

  2. This hotel is one of the best ones if you have a car or you may take Uber if your destinations are not much far away. Rooms are clean, staff are nice and friendly and there is plenty of parking spot underground.

  3. What a wonderful place to stay when visiting this part of Austin! Manager John made sure I had a perfect room, as I needed quiet in order to write. Liked it so much I stayed a few extra days. Conveniently placed right next to the mall for easy shopping, and walking trails. Loved it!

  4. On our last night in Austin I got food poisoning, which forced us to extend our stay 2 extra days because I couldn’t travel and the staff here was the most accommodating I’ve ever encountered. Jon the manager at the front desk has been phenomenal the entire trip, including giving us the same room for lower rates for the additional 2 days as I really couldn’t leave. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable, located in one of the biggest shopping mall outlets I’ve ever seen but tucked away into the back corner by itself. It’s about 25 minutes from the center of Austin, and the road you take is tons of fun to drive as it’s 60mph with long sweeping curves the entire time. Next visit to Austin well be coming here again without question. Thank you again for all of your hospitality

  5. A very beautiful hotel. It’s clean and calm. I will book again.

  6. Out side of Austin traffic And right next to all the good shopping and places to eat you can walk from hotel to shopping square and.. it¿s got a parking garage

  7. Your staff was phenomenal. I called twice to see about different things related to the reservation and they handled it with easy. Extremely professional and delightful to deal with. This had to be the quietest hotel I ever stayed in. The only negative is the small pool. If there was 10-12 people it would be crowded. Also breakfast option. Minor complaint compared to how phenomenal their staff is. If near the Austin area it’s a must stay, plenty of restaurants in the area.

  8. The staff was extremely friendly at check-in, the room was clean and exactly what I expected for the price, and I loved the underground parking. A Lyft to Austin was cheaper than staying in Austin.

  9. Beautiful hotel! The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable and the staff are super helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend the roof top bar and restaurant for yummy snacks and cocktails 🙂

  10. Fantastic hotel! I was recommended to the property, and I was not disapponted. Everything about the hotel surpassed expectation…cleanliness, location, staffing, etc.
A must do…have dinner and/or a drink on the top floor restaraunt! We will be back.

  11. We absolutely loved our stay at the Sonesta. The hotel was super clean, and the location could not have been better. In addition the pool was increible, and the cleanliness of the entire hotel was tip top. One cant miss is the top floor restraunt!

  12. The Sonesta is a cute boutique styled hotel nestled in the heart of the Bee Cave Galleria. Great for a girls trip , shopping trip and great views. Close to so many places folks really like and very walkable.

  13. Quiet, low-key, value stay within walking distance of several retail and restaurant options. Perfect facilities place for a small 1-2 day conference.

    Olive K. , 3 years ago
  14. If you have kids this is a nice spot. I booked a few extra days for an add on to a work trip (to try and enjoy myself.) Ended up working all day/ night and not being able to take any time to myself.
BUT I did make a few trips down to the pool, really nice. 10/10 chillax area. Noticed a lot of other business travelers so don’t think you’ll be out of place if that’s your purpose.
I also took a walk while on a conference call to the local mall it’s pretty posh even by my “Yankee Suburbanite Chicago” standards. They have a “Whole Foods” in there if that’s your jam.
Most people would just drive there, but its very walkable (if its not Texas midday heat. Staff was friendly and attentive. I’d probably book this if again if I didn’t want to pay downtown ATX rates.

  15. This Corporate Hotel definitely supports the local community. Last week during the ice storm I decided to stay at the hotel to be closer to my clinic. The galleria and the hotel lost power for 1 day. I got in touch with management and they willingly, no questions asked, comped out one night due to the power outage. I will be staying there in the future and will definitely have my friends/family stay at this fine establishment.

  16. We only stayed for one night before flying out of AUS. It’s less than 30min from the airport with a few nice places to eat/drink nearby. Enjoy the pool while you are there! Very friendly, helpful staff.

  17. The hotel appears to be well kept, based on the two rooms we have seen. We requested a move to another room only because it overlooked the meeting spaces and the air conditioning units. We were moved to a room with better views from one corner of the hotel. The desk staff was very accommodating even with low availability. Love the free underground parking, especially when the temperatures were soring above 100 F.

  18. Nicholas and Yadi were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was sanitized, and clean. The restaurant/bar on the rooftop offered some nice apps and entrees and the service was up to par. The location was perfect. We were close enough to the city to drive in and see the sights, but we were still in an area with a small-town vibe. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Austin.

  19. This is a hidden local gem. Our wedding coordinator Brianna Fleet with ButterFly Bridal & Events suggested this hotel. It’s a boutique style hotel and simply beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean, all staff is very friendly. Zero complaints for a Our Wedding block in January 2021. reach out to Jill if you have any catering events or need a special welcoming party/engagement party. The views on the rooftop are spectacular… Hill country oasis.

  20. What a great spot in Bee Caves! A friend of mine and I spent the night this Saturday, just to have a little girls night getaway, it was WONDERFUL! I felt super safe with all of the precautions the hotel has taken to keep things safe and sanitized. The room was very clean, remote sealed in plastic, room sealed with a sticker after being cleaned, everyone masked in common areas. We went up to the restaurant for some coffee and watched the sunset, there was indoor and outdoor seating with (beautiful) heaters outside. The staff was all friendly and professional, is was a great getaway!

  21. This hotel is awesome! My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday. The area is so beautiful. This city is small and peaceful. All of the staff were friendly. Everything is clean and modern. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room. The rooftop bar was great. Checking in and out was super simple. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back! It is about 25 minutes from Austin but to us it was worth going out of the way a little.

  22. Lovely, clean, fantastic service! Wished I’d had an opportunity to use the gorgeous pool. But I had a perfect salad at the rooftop bar/outdoor/ view/ lounge-y area. And loved the walk in shower and comfy bed. And because ice is important to me in 100° heat, the machine on my floor was easily available, FUNCTIONING, and made perfectly sized(to fill my water bottle), crunchy beautiful ice.

  23. Hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean the showers are big. I love the layout and feel of the hotel with the pool and amenities. The gym was nice to have that allowed me to continue to work out. The hotel is right next to the galleria shops which is nice to be able to just walk over and grab a bite do some shopping and then walk back. Parking is simple and easy underneath the building. I would definitely stay here again when in Austin. Highly recommend this hotel.

  24. Very nice venue. We attended a Lake Travis Chamber luncheon at Sonesta last month. The food was great and super service. I was very impressed because we were a big group.

  25. Brand new hotel in the BeeCaves area. Got a great deal on Hotwire and decided to try it out! This place is the definition of minimalistic! Very nice and modern but it gave you a feeling of simplicity. Which is not a bad thing. Set right next to the Hill Country Galleria it’s so convenient if you love shopping and restaurants! Staff is nice. The restaurant on 6 (Meridien 98) provides nice views but the menu prices are high. Decided to go elsewhere to eat.

The rooms minimalistic. Beds are comfortable. The shower is the best thing. Don’t worry about soap, shampoo or conditioner. It’s all there in dispensers. That was nice!

They have a shuttle to ferry you back and forth to the galleria. Didn’t try it but they run every 15 minutes according to staff. Underground parking which is great! Keeps your car cool!

Overall. A great deal on Hotwire if you get it. I think they are offering this just to get people to spread the word. But a great deal! The pool was not open but provides nice views. I think will open in August. They may not have the deal after that. Lol!

The elevators are scary though. Makes a weird dinging sound when changing floors. Sounds cheap and they creak. Maybe because they are new.

Anyways for what we got it for was a great value! Plus everything smells new! Like that new car smell! Lol!

  26. I had the chance to stay at the newly built Sonesta for two nights, work related. The meeting rooms were spacious, the catered food was good and everything here is sparkling new. The staff at the front desk were friendly and pleasant.

The location, as other reviewers have mentioned is far off into Bee Caves. However, it is in an area where there are plenty of food options, shopping etc by the nearby Galleria. It’s not really a “staycation” type of hotel, but it’s good for business and for people who live in beecaves to accommodate friends & family.

I stayed in the Deluxe King room and found it very clean & spacious. The bathrooms were a good size & even had showergel/shampoo/conditioner dispensers!

Overall, the stay was good. Will be coming back for a staff party to try out the food at the restaurant on the rooftop.

  27. We stayed one night for a quick visit to Austin. The hotel is a little off the beaten path since it’s far away from the big tourist spots. It’s beautifully modern and we would probably stay at the same brand hotel in another location for future visits.

    Irene M. , 9 years ago
  28. Lovely, trendy decor. Well located near shops and restaurants. The small plates restaurant and bar is great with a nice outdoor seating area with a view. The beds and pillows are the best I’ve slept on in a hotel in a while! Overall, a great stay. By the way, the elevators are just fine- plus gives guests additional security.

  29. Stayed here a couple weeks ago with my best friend for our annual “girls getaway”. It wasn’t much of a getaway for me because I live in the area but she doesn’t and I live far enough away from Bee Caves that it felt like a getaway. This hotel was really nice and perfect for what we wanted. The staff was friendly and the room and bathroom were really nice. Everything in our room was super clean too. I wasn’t all that happy about there being a giant pool party the night we arrived. It looked like a birthday party or something but it was loud and obnoxious. I think the pool area should be reserved for paying guests, not for anyone and everyone. It definitely took away that luxury feel that the hotel has when people aren’t dancing in bikinis with a red solo cup. There was ample parking and our view was nice, overlooking the hill country. I think if anyone pays attention to the location, it is clear that this isn’t some nestled hill country resort, nor is it a hip downtown hotel. It backs up to a shopping center which was fine for two women, like us, who like to shop. If you’re concerned about the location of any hotel, either map it from downtown (in this case it’s about 20 miles from downtown Austin) or use Google street view and notice that there are many buildings all around the property. Blaming the hotel for someone’s lack of research seems silly to me. It’s a nice hotel, not the best place I’ve ever stayed at but if I was in the area for another “girls getaway”, I would definitely stay there again.

  30. Excellent hotel, nice grounds, accommodating staff. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The food was nothing great, but average.

    John Z. , 9 years ago
  31. Great stay! The food was “ehh” prices were a bit high, but the view was great, the room was nice, and you can walk to the shops! I’ll be back.

    Tammy M. , 9 years ago
  32. went to an event and stayed at the hotel. nice, new hotel decorated contemporary. shopping mall close by with lots of restaurants. the room was decorated contemporary too. the upstairs bar is fantastic!

    Joyce F. , 10 years ago
  33. Great stay! Beautifully decorated with modern industrial finishes. The room was very clean. We only stayed one night but the restaurant and bar looked like a perfect date night with a breath taking view. Only negative which didn’t waver my rating… The parking garage is very confusing and can be a real headache. There are parts in the garage that are marked with caution since it’s very low. Driving a bigger suv we got stuck a few times and caused a traffic jam since our car wouldn’t fit under the low hanging pipes. Other than that, we will definitely consider coming back when visiting Austin.

  34. Modern, chic, & brand spankin new! The pool wasn’t done yet, so my nieces were disappointed.. But the property is great.

Shower was nice, beds were nice.

It’s also within walking distance from the shopping center so that was nice too.
