The course is carved out of the rocks and cedar trees that define the Hill Country of central Texas. Since the course was laid out on a peninsula on the north shore of the world famous Lake Travis, beautiful views of the lake can be seen from four of the 9 holes. Tight fairways and small undulated greens make it a challenge for the best players; however, with no water hazards or bunkers even a beginner golfer can enjoy their round at Point Venture Golf Club!

Wonderful place! Spotlessly clean and very new! Beautifully decorated. Very quiet. Backs on to golf course with deer roaming freely. Really nice place. We will definitely be back. The host contacted us before, during and after to make sure we were completely comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great course very fun to play, not to challenging and even better staff. Chris was the one who helped me at the front desk, an awesome guy. Carts were very clean. A great price for a good round of golf.

This place rocks, we were visiting friends but its part of their community. The club house has plenty of TVs to watch Sunday football, food truck that was there was soooo yummy The Food Dood…they have pool tables and shuffle boards too!

We usually play as a foursome. Three generations of Currier men. We always have a great time. The staff is very friendly, the course is easy and fun, and the beer at the end of the round is cold, with a nice outdoor seating area. We love this place!!!

Played 18 holes at PV’s 9 hole golf course and had a great time! The weather was beautiful and the course offered several views of the Lake Travis. The course is tough for a 9 hole course but not to difficult for kids and adults who want to play without sand and water hazards. Keep the ball in the fairways and you will really enjoy your round of golf here at PV. Justin the Pro and his support staff are great and a joy to be around. Also deer everywhere!

First time playing golf at this coarse. Very nice coarse. We booked our tee times online and we really got a great price. $11 for 18 holes w/ golf cart. Wow. Highly recommend booking online. The far-ways and greens were in great shape. Really pretty golf coarse. Tons of deer on every hole. So cool. We are getting back into playing golf so we wanted to take our time. Not a problem. We had a great time. We will be back.

This is a great course, especially for the price. You can book your tee time on their website and save a lot of money. We were able to get a round (18) for three of us and two carts for $33. The prices vary by day and time, naturally, but it’s a great deal of you book online. The course is a nine hole course, but you play it through twice. There are an incredible amount of deer on the course. Several times they just stand in the fairway while you play through. We also saw some hawks and a jack rabbit. Kind of a change from metropolitan courses.

The course is near Lago Vista, so it is a little drive from the Austin area. For the price, it can’t be beat. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were very fast. The staff was very nice and the feel of the course is relaxed and very inviting. There is no stuffiness here, just friendly and fun golfing.
