Our boat club provides you with private access to a diverse fleet of sleek, new boats, fit for any occasion – a laid-back fishing trip, an afternoon of skiing and water sports, or a celebration aboard a party pontoon.

Located at the Lakeway Marina on beautiful Lake Travis, Nautical Boat Club® at Lakeway opened in April 2016. The Lakeway Marina is one of the nicest on the lake, offering a full-service fueling station, fully loaded ship store, and private/clean bathrooms.

One of our most popular offerings is the extremely convenient access to the marina. We have a drop off area for equipment and crew that is just a few steps from our fleet! This, in addition to free covered parking and a central location to all of Lake Travis’ many attractions has made Lakeway the perfect addition to Nautical Boat Club’s family of clubs in Austin.

Still fairly new to the club, but so far everything has been great! The boats are awesome, the team is incredibly helpful/accommodating and the online reservation systems is very easy to use! Really happy That I found this place and can’t wait for summer!

We had a long weekend getaway to Austin this past week and stayed in Lakeway. We belong to the Nautical Boat Club in Houston so we booked a boat at the Lakeway location for a full day. Susan was punctual, friendly, and informative. Since it was our first time on Lake Travis she gave us a detailed rundown of the lake including restaurants, good surfing spots, and low water level areas to avoid. The service was exceptional. We spent the day on a 2023 NXT and it was in like new condition. We had a wonderful day on the water and we’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend this club and location.

Others have commented on the great boats, system, value, (all of which I agree with), so I’ll focus on the business itself. This is a professionally run business that strongly values its customers with high quality owners, managers and employees. These things matter immensely in practice and absolutely flow through to the customer experience in every way, from the actual rentals to support to integrity and honesty in contracts. It’s refreshing to encounter a business like this in this day and age and it gives one even more confidence in giving one’s business to them, bc we feel that we’ll be treated right in every situation. Such a great experience with boats, lake and staff. Never had any issues with reservations and the boat fleet was fantastic. Our teenagers actually wanted to hang out with us again.

We have been members for the past couple of years. All the staff is friendly and very accommodating. One of the dockhands, Jacob H. went above and beyond to help us carry and load all our stuff on the pontoon we reserved. My kids decided they wanted a tube last minute and he was very patient and found one for them. Nautical hires very helpful and professional staff.

Love this location – by far the cleanest, most friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The boats are always clean and all the equipment like anchors, bumpers and toys are already on the boat in an organized fashion. Really appreciate the attention to detail!

We Absolutely love Nautical Boat Club in Lakeway! We live in Rough Hollow and shopped all nearby competition as well as looked into buying a boat. We called and spoke with Jess and Macy initially and had a good feeling about them but wanted to go visit the location, meet the people and see the boats in person before deciding. After we met Macy in person, we were convinced that Nautical was the right choice for us, despite the pricing being a little higher than a competitor located in our actual neighborhood. But we were willing to NOT boat out of our own development and pay more just so we could interact with Macy. She is professional, knowledgeable, and has the absolute very best positive, bubbly disposition of anyone we know. And we thought, if that is who we will deal with, we will be happy. Now that we have joined, we have not been disappointed at all. The boats are newer overall than the competition and a fraction are rotated out each year for brand new boats. It has been a great so far; they are easy to check out, fun to drive and the customer service experience is exemplary, especially Macy! The whole crew is friendly and knowledgeable and worth mentioning- we have also really appreciated Abby, Gage, and Jess – they are all great. If you truly value customer service, Nautical Boat Club is for you!

After several years of waiting to go out on the lake only whenever friends with boats would invite us, we decided to take the plunge and try out Nautical Boat Club. After a year with them, every member of our family says that it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. The sign up process was easy and booking boats was as simple as it could be. The staff was always very helpful and knowledgeable about the boats, the conditions of the lake, and anything else we needed to know. Every time we pulled the boat back into the slip, my wife and I would look at each other and say, “Aren’t you glad we didn’t buy a boat!?” Highly recommend this to anyone considering it. Worth every penny.

I have absolutely loved my experience at NBC Lakeway! Jess and Abby have been absolutely FANTASTIC at running the best boating experience around! I shopped around for quite awhile before finding NBC and I can say I’m beyond happy with my experience so far! 10/10 recommend coming down to visit Jess/Abby!!!

Jess and Abby are the best. I’m a new boater and needed lots of help learning & to be confident. They both made me feel comfortable and were super patient with all my requests to help. For sure above and beyond my expectations! Also the team at the slip can make anyone look like they know what they’re doing. All around amazed and thankful!

We’ve been members of the club for a couple years now and have enjoyed it very much. The entire staff has been excellent to work with and accommodating when plans need to change. Jess has been a pleasure to work with and always takes care of us. I highly recommend joining this club, it is one of the best you will find on Lake Travis!

After being a member for over a year, I cannot think of a better service in Austin. Jess and Justin are always available on the phone or through email to make sure we are booked and ready to go. For all the trips we have taken out I can’t think of a time where it wasn’t an amazing day out on the water!

We are a busy family of 6 that loves to spend time on the water but we also don’t have the time to go on a lot of vacations. We really wanted to invest in something that was centered around family time and one of the options we kicked around was to buy a boat. After many long discussions about purchasing one we started to list all of our friends who owned a boat or had owned one in the past. Every single person we knew that owned one had some kind of issue or was constantly throwing money into it (storage/marina slip fees, maintenance, insurance, stickers, wear and tear repairs, etc.). We finally decided that buying a boat was not for us.
We stumbled upon the Nautical Boat Club (Volente) while searching online for a place in the Austin area that had daily boat rentals. We read so many positive reviews and loved the fact that a membership meant that we weren’t committed to using just one boat. There was a huge variety in their fleet. We decided to make an appointment to learn more about the membership obligations and how much we would have to pay to join.
The Nautical Boat Club exceeded our expectations and we decided to join on the spot. We paid for our membership for that entire year (2016) and received a small discount for doing that. Soon after we joined, the Nautical Boat Club opened their Lakeway branch and because Lakeway is much closer to our home, we decided we wanted to switch our primary membership to that location.
We have been just as happy at the Lakeway one as we were with the Volente location. The customer service is top notch, it is super easy to reserve a boat (and the toys/gear you want with it), it is incredibly convenient just showing up to the marina and within a few short minutes you are coasting down the lake. Most importantly, our family spends every chance we can together on the water, making memories.
We highly recommend the Nautical Boat Club to any lover of water or family who’s looking for a great way to be together, having fun.

we are thrilled with our boat club membership! multiple boats are available each time we reserve; the staff is incredibly helpful (for our inexperienced family), friendly and professional; and the boats and water toys are high quality and beautifully maintained. we have taken friends and family out on the lake, and club staff go out of their way to make the experience easy and convenient for all ages. with our work schedules, being able to drive to the marina and be on the boat within 15 minutes, and to leave without cleaning or maintaining the boat, is a must. thank you!

My wife and I joined the club this past December, and have used the boats regularly since then. The new member orientation was top-notch, and every question we had was answered pretty much before we had to ask. Making a boat reservation can’t be easier and takes about 1 minute online. We then just show up at our scheduled time and someone from the staff is waiting for us to assist with launching. They also have every water toy and life jacket you’ll ever need, which is included with membership at no additional cost. I think boat club membership is a tremendous value — and a great service — whether someone is an experienced boater or is just getting started. There’s nothing better than time spent on the water. Peyton and Austin are the best, and this boatclub is easily one of the best decisions in family entertainment I’ve made in years. This is way better than owning a boat, dealing with cleaning and maintaining a slip. Add on the variety and professionalism and availability of boats of so many sorts and you’ve got a great family fun resource that can’t be beat!

My fiancé has talked about owning a boat for as long as I can remember. Lakeway Boat Club is ideal for those wanting to own a boat(s), but don’t want to deal with all the maintenance. There is always a boat available for us even if we call to reserve one the day before. Austin, Peyton, and the entire staff are always so accommodating and willing to help in any way (even helping me blow up my giant pretzel float).

I never understood why my fiancé was so set on owning a boat, but now I get it. We will be members at Lakeway for a very long time!

Why own a boat? Just join Lakeway Boat Club! All boats are brand new and they offer a variety of different boats to choose from. You can choose to take out a luxury tritoon or a fishing one, you may be in the mood for a ski boat or a double decker boat with a slide. Why not they have that too. Whatever you choose to go out on for the day there are plenty of different boats to choose from. I’ve been a member for over 8 years collectively first to Volente Boat Club and now since they have opened in Lakeway right where I live I’ve transferred here. The staff is AWESOME and basically part of our extended family. My daughter grew up on the lake because of this club and we have many fond memories and years of boating to look back on. It’s never been a problem for us to take out a boat and now it’s even closer to home. I highly recommend Peyton and his staff at Lakeway Boat Club and suggest if your going to join any boat club this is the absolute best there is!! I will never own a boat because I’m a part of a club that makes me feel as if I have my own private fleet!

This is a great deal! Cheaper and WAY more convenient than owning a boat. And I’ve got several different boats to choose from. Austin and Peyton are great and super friendly. I’m very pleased with my choice to join the club. I love being able to take my friends out every weekend and the boats are all top of the line. I highly recommend this club!

This is a great boat club. Peyton and Austin and the whole staff are very friendly and accommodating. During our orientation there was a man fishing on the dock who happened to have been with the club for years. He had great things to say and strongly encouraged us to sign up and to just do it and that we wouldn’t regret it. The skeptic I am I asked if it was staged because it was too perfect of a situation right as we were finishing our first meeting.

Fast forward a little over a month in. Wow. Great service. Great boats. Great availability. One of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

At the end of the day. The fisherman was right Lakeway boat club is a real catch.

Don’t buy a boat, join the Lakeway Boat Club. If you love boating and don’t like or don’t want the hassles of owning your own boat, then choose The Lakeway Boat Club. My family has enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend it.

If you want a boat this is the route to go, you’ve seen the ads that say the happiest days of your life are when you buy and sell your boat, well add a third, the day you join Lakeway Boat Club. No fuss no muss! Everything is just as they promise you pay your monthly dues, and for that you have access to nearly a dozen great boats plus the 30 at the sister club from sail to tournament wake surf and everything in between. Every single person on the staff is super helpful and courteous , a special shout out to Peyton and Austin, these guys do everything humanly possible to make your day at the lake the best it can be.

I looked at several boat clubs when making my decision and it was just obvious to me with the lake level guarantee, the quality of the fleet, and the management of the club, there was no other choice.

The boats are immaculate and new. The reservation process literally takes less than 30 seconds, and boat availability has been 100% for me. I have always gotten exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it, every time.

Talk about convenient , you show up get in the boat you’ve chosen, they already have it warmed up stocked with whatever water toys and life preservers you need, you get in pull out and enjoy the lake. When your done they’re waiting for you to pull into the slip, you ease in they take the dock line and you walk off the pier to your car and go home or to dinner or whatever with your friends and family instead of securing cleaning and storing your boat and toys for the next hour and a half.

Second season with the boat club and well worth it! Great combination of helpful staff (especially on those windy days guiding us back into the dock!), available and well maintained boats. Our family had a blast last summer and are thankful for the addition of boats here in Lakeway.
