The Lucky Rabbit is nestled in the rolling hills on the north side of Lake Travis.

Come relax under the oak trees and grab a drink from “Old Rusty,” our 1950’s school bus recycled into our outdoor patio bar offering 6,000 sq ft of deck, and dog park to boot.

Amazing atmosphere!
Staff is phenomenal, checking in on each and every guest. Giving the family style feel with the efficiency of a 5 star establishment. To top it all off on New Years Eve. Amazing job

This place is amazing! Good was awesome and it was not expensive at all. Also they have a place for your dog and the outdoor patio is so much fun! I wish I lived closer so I can go often.

excellent walk up bar service, the food is always consistent, and the band selections are timely and entertaining, not to mention the most excellent outdoor area with its own old school bus bar!

Great live music, good food, nice atmosphere, good bartender! You have to grab your own condiments and silverware which was no problem! Will definitely be back! Chicken fried steak was great so was turkey burger

Love the back patio area. Especially that dogs are welcome. Food is typically fried bar food. Service is good. But the back patio area can’t be beat!

Service and food were excellent! Staff is very nice.

I had the chicken fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes with Jalapeño cream gravy, and green beans with bacon. Yummo!

Had a great time with my husband , best friend & her husband. Very awesome place. The outside is amazing. Fire pits, games, order drinks all the great things. Big TVs as well…. The bands are amazing as well.

Parking: It was a Friday night. So it was pretty packed. But not too bad.

Kid-friendliness: Kid and dog friendly. Great area in back for dogs. Great back patio. So fun.

Great time celebrating with coworkers and food was amazing! Shareable dishes available but I enjoyed the Chipotle Chicken Caesar salad. Various dishes were ordered such as Chicken Fried Chicken and BBQ Clucker which looked fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meal! Great time and music!

First time trying this place. Wife got the Chicken fried steak and loved it. I got the BBQ burger and was delicious. Only gripe I have is, wish they gave more curly fries! I need more curly fries!!

You have to order at the bar was a hair confusing on first trip but food was awesome you better be hungry huge servings.. they had a live band after 6pm I’m sure times and days vary.. the outside area was cool had some lawn chairs and corn hole.. a old bus turned into a bar outside was cool..

This not so hidden gem in Jonestown is fantastic. Really nice bar/ restaurant. I was expecting a great atmosphere and heard the service was always great, but I was not prepared for how awesome the menu is! Amazing food, well worth the trip out here alone.

How any given person feels about this place is going to depend on a lot on what sort of atmosphere they enjoy. Overall I like this place, but I intentionally stay away during the live music time slots now – when they are insanely busy. When I have been here during busy times, the service was atrocious (30-40 minutes to get a drink). Outside of those live music time slots, the service is good.
Food is fairly good, the portions are enormous for most items. Decent beer and liquor selections. Prices are a little on the high side, but could be worse. They have live music most nights, and host trivia on Tuesday evenings.

Just moved here. Been to many bars throughout the states. This is by far one of my favorites and I must say the bartender by the name Amanda was Amazing !! Very kind, friendly, on point. Very please with the service. My new hometown bar

Love this local watering hole! Best food in a 20 mile radius, great beer selection, and an awesome staff. You won’t regret going here, the drive is definitely worth it!

We went there for lunch today for the first time. Bobby, the bartender was very friendly, had great customer skills, and made my family felt very welcome. We had two burgers, curly fries, onion rings, and the fried peaches which all tasted great. We will definitely com back when the weather is cooler to enjoy the big, beautiful outdoor patio.

We had an outstanding time with friends last night. The vodka cherry limeade drink was marvelous. The burgers and nachos were a big hit too. Your band last night was entertaining and we enjoyed listening to them play. Staff was attentive and friendly. Your patio is fabulous. Good job!

Wow!!! What a surprise!!! The burgers & pickle chips & shiner beer went great together. We walked outside after we ordered & sat at a oversized wooden Texas size picnic bench. Loved the outdoor bar in a real bus, the radio Flyer outdoor sink, that dogs were allowed in the outdoor dining area, & the live music inside! The murals & framed photos of our favorite musicians made us comfortable. We love this place & will be back with family & friends. ♥️ Oh & we predict that the upstairs mural with Janis Joplin, George Strait, Gary Clark Jr., and ZZ Top Will be the next place to do selfie‘s on the North Shore.

Really liked this place. I’d hit it again, given the chance. I took a bit off for service, as you order at the bar. This means getting up amd waiting in line at the bar, amd paying up front. They will run a tab. Then you gotta pay attention, as the food is also picked up by you at the bar. Anyway, food was good, definitely a neat place. Is not in my usual area, but I’d go back. They have a stage for live music, and a large and well-done outdoor area.

Y’all, We come quite often to the Lucky Rabbit. It’s such a nice place to come and hang out with friends, enjoy some live music, and have some drinks.
If you’re a beer drinker, there is plenty to choose from, and if you like mixed drinks, the bartenders are great. I highly recommend the Lucky Slammer (It’s so refreshing).
The food is pretty tasty! Appetizers to tru are their fried pickles and deviled eggs. The nachos are big enough to share as a meal with 2 people. The chicken fried steak is usually pretty darn good. Other things to try are their burgers and hot chicken sandwich.
The atmosphere is great. It can be a little loud inside as there is usually live music being played. However, inside, you can choose to sit downstairs where the stage is located or upstairs. There is also a nice outdoor seating area with an outdoor bar. It’s also equipped with misters, fans and trees! Parking can get a little tight, but it’s truly worth the visit. Bonus that it’s also family friendly.

Love this place. Music is great. Food is consistently good. Drinks are decent. Only thing they could improve on is adding dedicated wait staff. Standing at the bar to order can be a drag when they’re busy. Tip – they’re usually busy. For good reason!

This eclectic venue has a little something for everyone. They feature a full bar and a nice menu of good food. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and live music.. check the schedule. Parking area is barely adequate so be aware. We enjoyed some cocktails and several different dishes of food. I had the Hot Chick sandwich plate, others enjoy the beef nachos and the fried pickles. My Hot Chick chicken sandwich was very generous and spicy with lots of fries on the side. One of my party enjoyed the Fuzzy Bunny drink so much she had three! You order food and drink at the bar. While we did not use the outdoor aspect of the venue, I assume they provide some sort of table service out there? Portions are generous and prices are typical of current venues. Overall, a charming addition to options for a adult experience in the Austin area.

Great live music, down to earth, family ownership and just an all around phenomenal vibe! Awesome drinks and good grub! Sometimes it takes a while to order, but that’s what you get with such a successful place that’s so necessary “this far” out in Hill Country. Absolutely love this place!

Drinks and food were all delicious! The only complaint I had was that we got 2 of the tiniest scoops of ice cream and were charged $10, which I thought was a little ridiculous. Overall we had a good time watching the game, playing cornhole, and just hanging out with friends.

Don’t walk, run on over to Lucky Rabbit for a fantastic time! Staff is wonderful and friendly, food was AMAZING, atmosphere is chill and the music is top notch.

Packed with folks watching the UT game. Has a live music stage, charming atmosphere and delicious food. Super kid friendly with a cheap mini arcade. Tons of seating options separated by upstairs but many stools and counter sitting.

Went for lunch for the first time. Really thought that it was a cool place and enjoyed visiting. Liked the renovations that were done around 2022. The interior looks great, especially the cool wooden bar “slab”. The outside “back yard” is really cool too with the school bus bar. Seems to be very popular as I always see a lot of cars there.

What a gem in the Hill Country!! Went for the Hot Chicken and it was amazing. The queso appetizer and the fried pickles are the best. The family loves the burgers and fries. Most notibly is the atmosphere. Great live music and a bar that is well stocked with my favorite whiskeys. Not to mention, the prices were reasonable and the service can not be matched. Last, but not least, even in the hot summer, the outdoor area is covered with trees and misters that ensure you are comfortable and fully enjoying the experience and ambiance. In a time that you need to watch where you spend your pennies…this is going to be a regular for my family. Affordable and pleasant hang out!

So chilled, dog-friendly and great outdoors seating in the shade of the trees. Has live country music on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Chatted with the friendly staff. Food portions are well-priced and of decent size. Definitely coming back again.

Fun environment! Large outdoor area with monitors to watch ch live bands from inside, great music system. Cool old school buss converted to an outside bar. Good food great drinks a lot of fun!
