Our center is locally owned and is an independent private practice. We’ve been serving our local community since 2001. We are also physical therapist-owned and that means we value quality, personalized care for our patients. Our team consists of Doctors of Physical Therapy. Three knee replacement rehabs, sciatica, shoulder and neck issues, old age ain’t for sissies, but having someone like Dr. Melody and staff at Lakeway Aquatic Physical Therapy dedicated to your rehabilitation certainly helps you to regain your quality of life and in my case, stop the whining – Ask my wife!

I have been here 3 times and feel much improved! The therapists seem very knowledgeable, personable, and caring. They are open to questions and offer suggestions on exercises to do at home. They also create a portal for you so you can views exercises at home on your computer. Highly recommend!!

I worked with Lakeway.Aquatic for 2 years and at every visit I received kind care. They addressed my problems with knowledge and specialized treatment that aimed at each problem with a specific positive result. After my treatment I am at 100%.. I highly recommend Lakeway.

I have seen a lot of physical therapists in the last 10 years. These folks are the best I’ve found. They do evaluative procedures that improve upon the referring doctor’s diagnosis and have consistently produced positive results for me on three issues, so far. I won’t go to anyone else in the Austin area.

My experience with Lakeway Aquatic PT has been wonderful. There are two physical therapists who are both very knowledgeable. After each treatment I see improvement in my recovery. I was able to incorporate the aquatic therapy into my recovery plan for a knee replacement, which made for an experience I actually looked forward to. I recommend them without hesitation.

I highly recommend LAPT! I’m improving so quickly and am regaining my strength and mobility thanks to the therapist’s ability to design a program just for me both in the pool and at their clinic. If you’re reading this…just do it!

It was easier to move in the water, not so much pain across buttock, did;t know walked to the left. I could feel movement I hadn’t felt in a while. hoping to strengthen my hips and leg joints. Gonna wear a shirt from now own don’t do well cold.

We recently moved to the Lakeway area which meant I needed a new Physical Therapy home. I’m not a big fan of change but these guys are great! There is a wide variety of up-to-date machines and accessories along with diagnostic machines for things like balance, something I was particularly happy about.
The people are excellent! They know exactly what they are doing and they are SO friendly! I felt comfortable the moment I walked in. Can’t wait till the pool is open! 🙂

I’ve had back problems for a few years now and no physical therapy place has done what this place did.

The level of attention and care has been amazing. Being told that I don’t have sciatica was also such a blessing to know after 2 years of being told I had it and the original treatment from another physical therapy was focused on that issue

Melody Medley-Keith and the entire staff at Lakeway Aquatic have been an absolute saving grace. This is a really good, no-nonsense place to get back to the business oh rehab. No bluster, no phoney enthusiasm. These professionals treat me with dignity, respect and share their abundant knowledge in qa way I find easy to digest. I would recommend them to anyone dedicated to their own progress and success on the road back from injury or surgery. Top shelf care providers, both as a business and individually.

I lined up these folks after I hurt my back on the job. Every therapist who helped my recovery was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and most of all, effective. I’m very sure that I wouldn’t have healed as quickly without their help. Would definitely recommend.

LAPT has cared for me through 5 back surgeries and have always done a wonderful job. The staff is careing, professional and particularly good with senior citizens like myself at 83. They explain every step of the process and keep you motivated. Ester is in charge of the front desk and is a wonderful communicator working with the patient on scheduling, insurance and all admin matters. My last sessions were with Hailey and she is the best therapist I have had in a number of years. I recommend this family owned business without reservation

I have had several appointments with Collette Rhoden for physical therapy, and have been very happy with the results we’ve achieved so far. Their facility is well equipped and Ms. Rhoden clearly knows what she’s doing! I can recommend them most highly!

I initially went to Lakeway Aquatic Physical Therapy because it was close to where I live, but now that I have worked with the therapists (now that they have worked on me) I would never consider going anywhere else. They are incredibly knowledgeable but equally important they are friendly and nice. I was happy that they could work me in twice a week on my schedule since I work full time. Both aquatic and land therapy environments are clean and pleasant. After only two weeks I have seen improvement and look forward to even more.

Lakeway Aquatic Therapy & Wellness is a multi modality Physical Therapy practice with 4 or more locations. The chief therapist, Melody Keith is a Ph.D and very experienced. The staff is welcoming and efficient. I came in with a prescription requested from my G.P. Physician, self referral for several issues originated from a sports sprained ankle, which had not healed properly, causing a cascade of issues. I’m a senior athlete, swimming 12-16K yds./ week and sailing competitively. My insurance [EPO] did not cover the therapy because it was out of network, but this is under evaluation. I’m am self pay until this changes.

The initial intake assessment was thorough and a program of therapy was scheduled twice weekly was recommended for approximately one month and re-evaluation. My first two treatments for my ankle sprain issues, possible ankle spur and possible Morton’s neuropathy have provided quick relief and I anticipate fixing some long term issues by the end of the therapy cycle.

Melody Keith is very knowledgable and compassionate. The therapy involves manipulation, ultra sonic massage, massage, guided stretching and strengthening exercises. After the first treatment I felt something “release” the next day and had an immediate decrease in pain. At the end of the second session, I felt almost normal in my walk, certainly better than I had felt in months. Nothing is instant, but there has been a fairly steady improvement in my mobility and flexibility by sticking to the plan and doing the prescribed stretches.

I have recommended LAT&WC to a personal friend with some fairly advanced issues, because I feel he will see a non surgical improvement.

I give them 5 stars on taking care of business and the therapy. Personable, the clinic environment is relaxed and focused on the clients.

I went to Lakeway after doctors could find no cause for a bad knee. I had gotten to the point that I couldn’t get out of chairs or negate stairs. On the first visit they informed me that my hip joint and pelvis were both misaligned. I then went thru 3 months is targeted exercises and got much better. I have continued with exercises for last 4 months and knee and back are much better, climber Mt Bonner with grandsons t wife this week. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation, 7 wasn’t on the scale.

I’ve been fighting back pain with several operations for over 30 years. My surgeon recommended I give physical therapy one more shot. I have had 20 sessions over two months and I am virtually pain free ! It has literally changed my life ! The staff at Lakeway are professional, competent and really take an interest in your recovery. Anyone suffering from chronic back pain should do what I did and give it a try; it really works !

What a wonderful center! The physical therapists are so knowledgeable, and friendly. Working out is fun with less pain! The center is very clean, and the water is nice and warm. I look forward to each visit. Highly recommended!!
