The Lake Travis Chamber was founded in 1986 to foster the best economic climate in Lake Travis by connecting businesses, strengthening communities, and promoting the Lake Travis area as a destination. The Vision of the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce is to be the Voice for Business in the South Lake Travis Area.

The Chamber hosts a number of events throughout the year and actively engages local businesses with opportunities to showcase their businesses within the community. Lake Travis business owners are also active within the community and serve in local fundraising activities for their residents.

Annual events for the Chamber include:

The Outstanding Achievement Awards Ceremony that recognizes businesses, individuals and non-profits for their contributions to the community.

ChamberFest is the “Biggest time in the Smallest Town”! The annual festival is a family-friendly event celebrated the last weekend in April. Kiddos go wild in the Texas-sized KidZone, festival attendees enjoy live music all day, artisan shopping and the latest and greatest in watercraft at the Boat Expo. Enjoy eats from area food trucks and grab a frosty brew from the Craft BrewHaus. The end of the festival reveals the winner of the Lake Travis Rib King BBQ cook-off where teams compete for numerous entries including Bloody Mary’s, Beans, Chili, Chicken, Kids’ Chicken, Ribs and Brisket.

Birdies by the Lake Golf Tournament is the most fun and premiere tournament in Lake Travis. Whether you play, sponsor or volunteer, it’s a great day on the links!

In addition to annual events, the Chamber also hosts monthly luncheons, ribbon cuttings and Business After Hours events to give members the opportunity to ‘get known and ben known’ and to grow their business.

As a new non-profit, The Lake Travis Film Festival, looks forward to working with the LT Chamber to promote our beautiful home turf and bringing tourist to visit and shop and see movies.

I have been a member of many different Chambers and Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce is one of the best. I am a member of the Leadership Lake Travis for 2018-2019 and it is an amazing program. The members are so nice and Laura Mitchell is an outstanding leader and President in addition to be very nice and friendly.
