Welcome to Camposanto

Nestled in the hill country in a private neighborhood called Graveyard Point on Lake Travis – is Camposanto, a glamping site near Austin, TX. Thoughtfully designed and built, Camposanto offers solitude and peace amongst the trees and birds by the lake. We have two cozy, comfortable yurts for the modern wanderer and nature lover – a place where you can cut the noise and escape to the quiet.

Camposanto was created because we believe in finding balance and peace in nature. This is our idea of “roughing it”. Here at Camposanto, we aim to offer tranquil, memorable experiences with quiet-luxury comfort to combat chronically busy lifestyles. We value hospitality, integrity, adventure, and connection. The Macaw Yurt

Our beautiful 16ft Macaw yurt is 201 square feet of circular coziness and comfort. It feels very large and spacious inside! The Macaw Yurt features a very comfortable queen size bed, multiple soft aloe vera pillows, organic cotton sheets and bedding, and a full size pull out sofa bed. We love snacks and amenities as much as anyone, so we’ve put in an electric kettle, a retro microwave, mini fridge with a large freezer, local coffee from Austin, boutique assortment of tea, 2 liters of our well water, and some local snacks. We have our A/C pumping during the summer months and the heat cranking in the winter, so you’ll feel comfortable and right at home.

The Peacock Yurt

Our beautiful 16ft Peacock yurt is 201 square feet of circular coziness and comfort. It feels very large and spacious inside! The Peacock Yurt features a very comfortable queen size bed, multiple soft aloe vera pillows, organic cotton sheets and bedding, plus one twin-size pull out chair-bed. We love snacks and amenities as much as anyone, so we’ve put in an electric kettle, a retro microwave, mini fridge with a large freezer, local coffee from Austin, boutique assortment of tea, 2 liters of our well water, and some local snacks. We have our A/C pumping during the summer months and the heat cranking in the winter, so you’ll feel comfortable and right at home.

As someone who pays close attention to details, I can confidently say CampoSanto is where you want to stay on your visit to Austin. My husband and I spent three nights in the Peacock yurt and it was a perfect getaway! The owners truly put in an effort to have high-end items in their spaces (linens, art, coffee, herb garden for public use, etc). I love the juxtaposition of nature and luxury. The bed was very comfortable and the yurt was not stuffy at all. We especially loved the plush robes that we wore each morning while sipping our coffee in the sunshine. Such a nice touch! We can’t wait for our next visit!

Cutesy little yurts + outdoor space. Lights, hot tub, hammocks & close to the water. The personal fridge was stocked with goodies, water and coffee necessities. There’s an outdoor kitchen, restroom and shower. I enjoyed my stay and how I felt in and out of the yurts – very calming and peaceful. Thank you!

Camposanto ATX is such a sweet little getaway. We stayed in the Peacock Yurt for Christmas and couldn’t have been cozier. The yurts are well appointed, the décor is thoughtful and calming, and the hot tub was hot and very clean! The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to make two pretty complex meals. It was raining when we were there so we didn’t venture out to the lake but it is a very short walk. Despite the rain we were able to enjoy our meals under the covered kitchen bar area and enjoy the very quiet evenings reading and soaking. So peaceful!

My boyfriend brought me here as a surprise for my 21st birthday, and it was the best birthday ever. So incredibly cozy and relaxing. Listening to the quiet nature while falling asleep then waking up to that gorgeous skylight with the birds singing? Amazing! The outdoor kitchen was really cool and I loved the restrooms and shower. The hot tub was amazing. I really appreciated the yurt guide! So helpful! The bed was so incredibly comfortable I slept so well. Don’t forget the deer you can see when driving around! And the silly peacocks you randomly hear. I definitely recommend

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful my stay was at Camposanto! Kiele and Andrew were the most gracious hosts, thinking of every detail for the most calming, comforting vacation. Cookies, tea, coffee, sparkling water and many more snacks. Yum! Record breaking cold weather and rain only added to the serenity of the yurt. Heated blankets and space heaters made it feel like home. Beautiful amenities all around! Lovely, lovely stay. I’m looking forward to returning with my family. Thank you!

Camposanto ATX is truly a glamper’s paradise. From the aesthetic décor to the functionality of the living spaces, every detail put into the “glampsite” was so thoughtful and made for an enjoyable experience. Our family stayed here in both yurts during the soft opening and had a wonderful time. The yurts were beautifully decorated and very comfortable–the A/C in the yurts kept them nice and cool. The outside kitchen was outfitted with modern appliances and everything we needed to cook family meals, and the bathrooms are gorgeously decorated and clean.
The grounds are well kept and the cooling pool (hot tub) was a welcome treat during the hot days. The neighborhood is eclectic but quiet and peaceful, and the property has an external fence around it that gave us a lot of privacy. Our kids loved exploring the neighborhood, and there is a lot to do with Lake Travis just a few minutes’ walk away, but our favorite activity was being able to unplug and hang out on the peaceful property grounds. We have stayed at other glamping locations with yurts before, but they were pale in comparison to the luxury and ambience provided at Camposanto. We highly recommend Camposanto for an off-the-beaten-path stay in the Austin-Texas Hill Country area. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in these yurts for about a week and the overall experience was amazing! The yurts were very cozy to stay in and they contained all the amenities you could think of to help you feel at home and more! They are also only a short walk away from the lake. We will certainly be staying there again!

Stayed here over the weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a place to stay in the area and to anyone who is looking for a fun glamping adventure.

Restrooms: The restrooms were very clean and very nicely decorated!

These yurts were amazing. They were so clean and overall had an amazing vibe. It was very comfortable in the yurts and through out the night i didn’t feel hot. If you are in the area and looking for a quick getaway i would say this is one of the best!
