AYC is a very friendly and welcoming club. You do not have to be a member of the club to take lessons, and there are a lot of members who will gladly put you on their boats as a crew member. This club has been wonderful for our family. Our 10 year old son, 13 year old daughter, and 15 year old daughter all LOVE sailing their own boats on the lake. It is really a community that looks out for each other, and wants everyone to learn and enjoy sailing. PB&J summer classes are for kids 5-8 years old and the Junior Classes are for kids 8-16. We love the summer sailing camp! The staff is awesome, the curriculum is thorough, and they have fostered a love for sailing in our kids.

Very active multihull fleet that is always looking for crew. Friendly folks and competitive racing. Good educational and training program for youth and adults.

Some of the best sailboat racing I have ever encounter. You can have up to 15+ J/80 sailboats on any given weekend! Awesome!

Better known as a picnic table sailing club. It does center around sailboat racing and other associated activities. The atmosphere, and camaraderie at the Club are rampant throughout. The facilities are absolutely stunning yet understated. It is a great place to learn sailing and to be amongst friends. It is the one place on Lake Travis that it makes absolutely no difference whether the Lake is full or 60 feet below normal, there is always something going on. It may be the best hidden secret and all of Austin!
