Established in 1985, 620 Dance Centre, a Lakeway Dance Studio, offers ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and technique classes for toddlers up to teens. The staff provides a positive and encouraging environment, which improves confidence and allows each individual student to grow to their fullest potential.

Our dancers come from all over the greater Austin area including Lakeway, Steiner Ranch and South Lake Travis, as well as Northwest Austin to visit our studio located off of Ranch Road 620 in the West Austin area. Whether you are looking for hip hop dance classes for children in Steiner Ranch or ballet classes for kids in Lakeway – we are a few short minutes away!

Toddler Dance and Combo Classes:
Starting with our youngest dance students, we offer Toddler Dance Classes that include a combination of ballet and tap — a perfect combo for a little prince or princess! Your child can enroll in Toddler Dance classes if they are at least 2 years of age! We also offer Combo Classes that include a combination of tap, ballet and tumbling, and focus on building skills and balanced coordination while inspiring the love of dance. Kids Dance Classes:

Teen Dance Classes:
We offer a wonderful variety of teen dance classes perfect for older dance students! From ballet for teens, pointe classes, jazz, tap, contemporary or modern dance, and hip hop — we have something for your teen who loves to dance!

Also, if your preteen or teen is getting ready for drill team this fall or preparing for drill team try outs, don’t miss our drill team skills class offered on Wednesday evenings! Your daughter will have plenty of flexibilty and precision training needed for drill teams members. Our Drill Team Skills Class includes practice on high kick techniques, jazz technique, splits, turns, and other important skills while having fun at the same time! This will be my daughter’s third year with 620 Dance! We have loved watching her grow and develop in several different types of dance, while building confidence, discipline, determination, and stage presence. She has also formed many wonderful friendships and relationships, while developing a love and appreciation for dance and the arts. What I love about this studio is that Ms. Dana truly and honestly cares for and has a genuine interest in each and every student who passes through her door. You do not find this at every dance studio. She has a passion for what she teaches and a passion for people.

My daughter has been at 620 dance for over 4 years. She loves the teachers and Ms Dana. They are very encouraging, inclusive and service oriented. She’s learned valuable dance skills as well as many life lessons throughout her time at this studio. It’s truly is a second family. I’d highly recommend 620 Dance!!

My daughter has been dancing at 620 Dance Centre for 11 years and loves it! We have seen her grow in her talent and her passion for dance. When she auditioned for her high school dance team, the staff at 620 was very supportive and helpful with providing her a place to practice, giving her encouragement, and helping her perfect her skills. The owner, Dana Nunn, is very accommodating and willing to work with dancers who are on both their school dance teams and 620 Dance Centre’s performance team, Debut. I appreciate 620’s long term presence in our community and Dana’s commitment to providing quality instruction and personal growth to young dancers. 620 Dance Centre has allowed my daughter to foster friendships while doing what she loves.

Our family has called 620 Dance Centre home for 6 seasons, my Daughter has grown so much at this Studio. The teachers have been (and are) fantastic, caring and nurturing. Dana treats everyone like family and has a way with young dancers that really instills the love of dance in their hearts. My daughter is so sad when she cant be in the studio with her teachers! We are so happy to call 620 Dance Centre our dance home.

I love this dance studio. I enrolled my 9 year old daughter the month we moved here 4 years ago and she’s been there ever since. Now my 9 year old is taking classes as well. I love the teachers and the entire program. I also love how central the location is…just 10 minutes from Steiner!
