Swim School Guppy

Young swimmers will focus on building confidence and having fun in the water. They will focus on body position, floating, kicking, and practicing all four strokes.

Tuesdays & Thursdays – 03/31/2026 -04/23/2026 – 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Prerequisites:
• Child must swim full length of the pool on their own
• Child must be comfortable in the water by themselves
• Child must listen to the swim school coach at all times and be able to follow directions
• Ages 5–6

Hello Swim Families!

My name is Cooper Robinson, the Assistant Manager at the Lakeway Swim Center, and I oversee the Lakeway Stars Swim School program. I wanted to send an email to those who signed up for the upcoming session!

We are so excited to have everyone join us on Tuesday(February,24th)! As a quick reminder, make sure your child brings a towel, sunscreen, and goggles every day. If you do not have goggles, there are a few extra pairs at the swim center. Once you show up, the staff will direct you where to go from the front desk. When it’s time for practice, we will escort the kids behind the lanes.

Reminder that we will have practices on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week during the session. In the event of inclement weather or anything the requires us to cancel practice we will be offering make-up practice on Fridays, of the same week, at the same normal group times. For any reason, if practice is cancelled, we will be communicating that out to everyone via email.
