Petting Zoo

Starting on August 17th, utilizing GOATS, the City of Lakeway will initiate a vegetation clearing project to remove invasive species and excess vegetation in our green spaces. This pilot project will focus on clearing overgrown rights-of-way along Lakeway Blvd near the pond at Lakeway Dr. Additionally, the service will extend to an area between the Activity Center and City Hall.
To celebrate this unique project, we invite you to join us for a City of Lakeway Petting Zoo event on August 18th. This family-friendly event will provide an opportunity to observe the goats as they graze and to interact with various farm animals. Attendees of all ages can enjoy a fun-filled day with a variety of animals including goats, sheep, donkeys, and a miniature horse!
