Twilight Concert: Twilight Jazz Ensemble

Marc Witmer’s “Twilight Jazz Ensemble” is a legend on the North Shore for its swingin’ interpretations of classic lounge standards.

Barbara, Jane, and Bill join the ensemble for a special evening of Christmas songs sure to warm your heart and take you down memory lane. Added to the group is Jane Frances “Lady Jane”.

Born on a train traveling from Las Villas to Havana, Cuba, Jane Frances singer-songwriting career began her grandpa’s knee.

In 1983 she was asked to be lead singer for Orchestra America where she sang for more than 20 years. What came natural to her was extremely rare, for there were no female lead singers in Latin Bands during that era. Her powerful and passionate performances made her a natural in an otherwise man’s world.

At Twilight Concerts, we believe local musicians are family. We invite you to join with other like-minded music lovers who wish to support and enjoy these world-class artists.

Performers are chosen to reflect the diverse talent in Austin and the surrounding area, and Villa Antonia is the perfect size venue to create an intimate musical experience.

Concerts are held the second Tuesday from September through February at 7:00pm. Come at 6:00pm with your appetizer and join your neighbors as we gather for an hour of mingling prior to the start of the concert.

Stay on for the artist reception after the concert, where local community organizations sponsor the artist’s reception. This unique opportunity gives ticket holders a chance to meet each artist in a cozy setting. We hope you’ll sit back, relax, and enjoy a moving musical experience with some of the world’s finest musicians in this magical setting on the North Shore of Lake Travis.
