Join Tejas Trails at Spider Mountain for a uniquely challenging trail running event on the beautiful shores of Lake Buchanan!
Hone your climbing and downhill trail running skills, experiment with long distance and mountain running equipment, dial in your night time running technique and nutrition, train and develop mental toughness for ultra success!
This race is a perfect way to get ready for Summer and Fall Tejas Trails events like The Texas Trail Running Festival, Capt’n Karl’s Trail Series and other long distance mountain events. Each person that runs gets to experience this extraordinary course & EVERYONE will get to ride the super cool Texas Eagle Quad Chairlift!
For added convenience, comfortable cabins are onsite at Thunderbird Lodge for spectators, family, or just to make the most of your time in the Hill Country.
There are also plenty of daytime activities available, from downhill mountain biking at Spider Mountain to fishing on Lake Buchanan.
Once you’ve had enough adventure, head over to Templeton’s Tavern for some hot pizza and live music.
