Picture the quintessential Lake Travis yacht captain. Now add an energetic, friendlier twist to that, and you’ve got Captain Neil. My friend chose the experience for her birthday party, and it was so so much fun. Our experience with Lake Travis Yacht Rentals, as a whole, couldn’t have been better. Captain Neil was beyond professional but still wholly engaged with our group. I think he probably talked one-on-one at some point or the other to the 20 people in our group who wanted to chat and got to know us all a little bit along the way, which made the experience feel relaxed and personable. The yacht driving itself was a smooth ride, no issues. When we anchored, he helped us inflate the tubes that we’d brought and got us in the water quickly, which was a relief in the near 100-degree heat. Overall, I can’t recommend Captain Neil or Lake Travis Yacht Rentals enough. 10/10 amazing experience.

Went on a bachelorette trip in Austin this past weekend and used Lake Travis Yacht Rentals to do a boat day. We got Captain Mark who was absolutely above and beyond!! He helped us load things from our cars, towed everything in the boats, and was a true joy for the trip. HIGHLY recommend!!

Captain Jessica was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, she made our trip unforgettable. She was professional, friendly, and clearly knew the water like the back of her hand. I booked a double decker pontoon for a group of friends and we all had a blast! Our captain (Shawn) was amazing to us and really made sure we had a good time. There was plenty of room on the boat to mingle and eat and drink and the water space was perfect for our group to still somewhat keep to ourselves even with how busy it was on the lake. Highly recommend booking for events or just a fun day out!

I had such an amazing time on the Yacht. The ladies definitely enjoyed themselves the entire time. Tony was amazing and showed us great customer service and also made sure we were all safe, which made the bachelorette party much more memorable. We also had a bathroom that worked which was a plus since we were all women. If you are in the Austin or Lake Travis area definitely book with Tony for an unforgettable experience.

Clear communication from company telling us where to go and what to bring. For food we made about a dozen turkey and a dozen ham sandwiches the night before and stopped at a gasser on the way for individual snacks. A case of water and the mini gatorades were clutch. If you like to shotgun in groups bring A LOT of cans. Captain was a great guy and understood the assignment. Friendly reminder “To Insure Proper Service” before leaving the dock.

I booked the casino royale yacht on Lake Travis for my sisters bachelorette party back in August and it was so much fun! We had captain Taylor and he was amazing and made it the best experience. Probably the best activity that we did. We hooked up next to a bunch of other boats and it was like a huge party. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin!

Had a great day out on Lake Travis with Neil! He was able to tailor our day to our requests (we wanted a relaxed private place to hang out and get in the lake) and he made sure we stayed safe with a great safety brief and making sure everyone was doing ok in the water. The boat was beautiful and clearly well maintained as well. We had a blast. I would book again and request Neil to be our captain!

An Unforgettable Bachelorette Boat Day with Captain Robert!
We had the absolute BEST time celebrating my sister’s bachelorette party with Captain Robert on his double decker party boat- BEERACUDA! The boat itself was perfect — spacious, clean, and came with a super fun slide that everyone loved.

Captain Robert was amazing from start to finish. He was so kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He even offered to take photos for us so we could capture the memories.

The whole experience was seamless, fun, and incredibly memorable. If you’re looking for a fun, stress-free day on the water with a captain who genuinely cares, look no further than Captain Robert. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day, it was my Father’s Day cruise present from my family! Our captain was timely and courteous. The boat was clean and in great shape! We had a wonderful tour of the lake and then anchored down in a cove for some swimming and lounging on the Lilly pads. What a great way to spend the day on Lake Travis!

Raven was an awesome captain!! He took care of me and my extended family while we were on the boat. He found a nice quiet cove for our family to hang out in. He even helped get the kids in and out of the water. Everyone enjoy hanging out on the Lily pad! I will definitely contact Lake Travis Yacht Rentals again if I need a boat rental in Lake Travis.

Captain raven was great; very personal. The boat itself was misleading. I purposely booked this boat because it listed a TV. We had plans to watch some ball while out on the water. To our dismay we were informed at port the TV was a shame. Otherwise most aspects of the boat lined up.

We had a fantastic time with Lake Travis Yacht Rentals this weekend. We did an extended charter for 5 hours (1 hr at additional fee) on the Islander.

We loved the dual water-slides, the captain was absolutely fantastic, and the sound system was incredibly loud. We were mostly able to drown out the other boats in Devil’s cove, which is impressive given all the other boats and sound systems 🙂

The company does a great job of striking the right balance between safety and fun, and catered even to a small group (the boat fits 19, we were 4). A bunch of people asked to use the slides because of the convenience of having one on each side of the boat – with the lily pads and everyone in the water, you always need to be paying attention to where you are sliding, so the dual slides helped a lot with that.

Would use again in a heartbeat 🙂

Our captain was amazing, the boat was nice, clean, and well-kept, and we all had an amazing time! The slide was for the slim-hipped, so some of us couldn’t enjoy it, but I did, over and over. I recommend.

My bridal party planned a trip on a yacht through this company for my bachelorette, and it was awesome! While I cannot speak to the overall planning/payment process for the boat/activity, the experience from the start of the boat trip to the end was amazing. Our captain, Neil, was super friendly and made the day fun, while also being professional and keeping everyone safe. Would recommend this company to everyone and had the best day!! Only thing to be aware of, a shuttle drove us from our airbnb to the dock, and they charged $5 a person on the shuttle to enter the parking lot for dropping off.

UPDATE: my group had left something on the boat and the captain went out of his way to make sure it was returned to us. Nice people and great company. Thanks again!

Highly recommend. We rented a double decker pontoon and it was well equipped with coolers, pool noodles, double slides, and lily pad. Our group of 14 (with 7 kids aged 4-12) had a blast. Our Captain, Travis, was great too!

My group of family and friends had an absolute blast on the Golden Eye with Captain Neil. This was my second time with Lake Travis Yacht Rentals and I was lucky to get the same captain both times. We had the BEST time celebrating my bachelorette trip on Lake Travis. Everything was top notch and we GREATLY appreciated Captain Rebecca taking such good care of us. We had our originally planned boat (with a different company) cancel on us 15 minutes before we were scheduled to go out. We found Lake Travis Yacht Rentals after a quick Google search and gave them a call. The scheduling agent was extremely helpful and was able to help our group of 12 out at the very last minute with a new charter that same afternoon. They went above and beyond to help us out of a tough situation, and we were very appreciative! Would recommend to anybody!

We got the double deck boat with a slide and had an amazing fun Sunday afternoon in Devil’s Cove. Our Captain was extremely helpful and provided great service to our intoxicated selves. He was fun and extremely knowledgeable — very in tune with ensuring we stayed safe. We definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future. I would suggest booking a few days in advance if the availability is there it’s like 50% cheaper on short notice. FYI, now I know and will be doing so moving forward.

We had such a great time on Lake Travis! We were on Knot Again, which was perfect for 13 girls. As fun as the pontoons looked, with 13 girls, it was nice to have a bathroom! Our captain, Captain Derek, was amazing and made the whole experience extra enjoyable!

Spent an afternoon in Devil’s Cove tied up with the Lake Travis Yacht fleet. Our crew had such an awesome time! Our Captain was really great accommodating us. We had lily pads and plenty of storage space for our use. The tritoon we rented sat 13 of our friends comfortably and it was nice having a reliable designated boat driver.

We took out the Casino Royale and the boat was awesome – fridge, bathroom, massive coolers, lily pad, noodles, awesome sound system, and plenty of room to dance. The boat was great but the star of the show was Captain Neil – he was so much fun and the ultimate hype man making sure we kept the party going by tossing us drinks out to the lily pad and even playing flip cup with us (with water!). If you want the classic Lake Travis party boat experience book Captain Neil and the Casino Royale – guarantee you won’t regret it – he goes above and beyond his captain duties.

We had the amazing opportunity to have Captain Neil as our bachelorette/bachelor party boat captain and he was amazing!! We had a group of 60 people and he ensured we had the most amazing time…even if you weren’t apart of his boat. He is friendly, professional and super fun. He made our day on the lake the most fun, memorable and special. The only downfall is that we did not have more time with him!!

Booked one of their large party boats with a slide for a friends birthday this past May and had a great time! A friend referred the company and Captain Jessica to me, and though she was booked herself that weekend she answered all my questions and was so helpful! Derek was our Captain that day and was awesome! He texted me a couple days prior to our trip and provided details and things to know before arriving, and was SUPER attentive. Entire time on the boat was awesome, we had so much fun and Derek made sure we had a great time. Super clean boats, very responsive, and fun people! Highly recommend Lake Travis Yacht Rentals!!

We had a 75-person party, with an omakase team, a wine distributor and a live jazz band on four yachts and a pontoon, and the absolute craziness of our story cannot be replicated! Our crew- Neil, Justin, Derek and Raven- were absolutely amazing and went ABOVE AND BEYOND with helping us with very urgent, very last minute, and completely surreal!, event complications that honestly, I can’t even make up!

A) The jazz trio flat out refused to get on any of the yachts. They had a huge miscommunication with their manager and were terrified about the leaving the dock. And, to make things worse, one of the band members locked his instrument in his car by accident, 30 min before guests were scheduled to check in. Literally could not make this up! The crew quickly took on supportive roles and they were brilliant! They called a colleague to crank open this guy’s car door so we didn’t have to wait an hour for AAA to arrive. They found a pontoon and persuaded the jazz band, along with their bass, keyboard and sax, to get on it! Just a note, I knew it was difficult to find a pontoon, because they were booked solid for months. And more importantly, it is absolutely amazing that they convinced the band to do this- they de-escalated the whole crazy situation and made the band feel comfortable about getting on a boat. I mean, our event was called the JAZZ and Wine Sunset Cruise, and the band refused to leave the dock. Without Neil, Justin, Derek and Raven, we would not even had a party at all!!

B) We had to bring two 2000w Honda generators on the yacht to power up the live band. Could not make this up either- Home Depot forgot to fill up one of them with gas, and the other gave out mid-performance. So they found a funnel and transferred gas from the broken generator to the empty one and got the music going again!

C) I was the main host, and I was just reeling from the issues with the band, and I’m telling you, these guys truly understood the gravity of it all and empathized when it started to feel like the event was going to fall apart- before check-in, before even leaving the dock! They are the ONLY reason why the event did as well as it did, with guests raving about the experience after, because to be completely honest, without them, the event would not have happened!

These are just a few of the reasons why this company is so awesome- and there are so so many more! Our guests had a fantastic time talking with them and many of our guests commented on how sweet and fun they were! From their open, warm and kind demeanors to just how engaging they were with the entire crowd- Neil got in the water with the rest of the party!- I can’t believe just how PERFECT a decision it was to go with Lake Travis Yacht Rentals for our event! I know I’m only one person, and this is just one review, but I guarantee that you will never, ever, find a crew this unbelievably smart, kind, quick, supportive, and just absolutely wonderful as these guys are!!

Captain Pacey was the best! She’s probably the coolest mom but actually though she was top of everything and ensuring we had fun and also safe as well. We went to Devil’s Cove on Sunday so there wasn’t too many boats out that day but she made sure we were the life of the party which we were. We got to tie off to a couple other boats from this company’s fleet which was great. 10/10 would recommend! We also rented the Margaritaville boat.

Captain G (Gavin) made our experience absolutely wonderful! It was looking like we weren’t gonna be able to go because of the rain, but I am so thankful the weather cleared up and we were able to have the most memorable experience. We had a blast at my friend’s bachelorette party, he even gave her a captains hat.

We spent friday on a rental and it couldn’t have been a better day. Matt was our captain and was extremely thorough with the safety and guidelines we had to follow. But more than anything he emphasized us having a good time was his main focus (outside of our safety). We’re here for a bachelor weekend and the groom and the rest of us had such a great time. Couldn’t be more appreciative of Matt and the fellow captains!

Spent an afternoon in Devil’s Cove tied up with the Lake Travis Yacht fleet. Our crew had such an awesome time! Our Captain was really great accommodating us. We had lily pads and plenty of storage space for our use. The tritoon we rented sat 13 of our friends comfortably and it was nice having a reliable designated boat driver.

Visited 7/16/22 and let me tell you.. LT Yacht Rentals are professional and fun all at the same time. Captain Raven provided safe passage for a large group, picked out a great spot to anchor out with excellent views on the port side, and knew when to be fun and when to be in charge. I would highly recommend this company and charters to anyone. Great times

We had a great time with Captain Matt! The boat was clean and in great condition. Matt took care of everything for us and made sure we had everything we needed, from ice to drinks to floaties. He knew lots of other boat captains in the area and was able to tie up with multiple other parties which made the whole experience more social and fun. I would definitely recommend this company and Captain Matt!

I have been to Lake Travis three times for bachelorettes in the past couple years and Captain Matt/Lake Travis Yacht Rentals is by far the best company to go with if you are considering chartering a boat. Amazing experience overall! Our whole group had fun before we even left the dock. Great balance of feeling safe, comfortable, and welcome on the yacht. The Captain and other Captains went above and beyond to create the perfect atmosphere working together. Captain Neil I the spectre was the best captain we’ve ever had. I’ve gone on many rented boats since living in Austin but this experience was the best we’ve ever had. My friends all flew in for a bachelorette party and I was nervous about who would be our captain but Neil gave me and my friends the best day we’ve ever had on the lake!!! We will only be booking with Neil moving forward!

We had a great time out on the lake! Neil was a fantastic captain. He was very informative about safety protocols but also got down and had some fun with us- it felt like he was just another member of the group!

Highly recommend this company- they give you every bit of information you need beforehand so you’re not stressing the day before and the boat was very nice!

My group (bachelor party, 18 people) had the pleasure of spending a four-hour, late-afternoon cruise with Captain Jessica. Not only was Jessica a perfect local guide for optimizing our Lake Travis experience, she also did the “dirty work” of keeping us safe on the water (and in the boat), so that we could have the maximum amount of fun. Even though this Rental Company surely runs countless cruises and tours every day, they did a great job of making our specific experience feel unique/special. And that’s almost exclusively because of Captain Jessica’s warm and inviting style.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience. We had 19 girls on our trip which as you can imagine, made logistics challenging, but Lake Travis Yacht Rentals made it so easy and enjoyable to plan our day on the lake. From booking the boat, to making sure we were prepared day of- We didn’t have to worry about a thing. They were on top of every detail, and our crew enjoyed the whole experience. Captain Shawn was stellar- We all felt safe and comfortable, and he went out of his way to make sure we had a great day on Lake Travis.

Five stars across the board for Lake Travis Yacht Rentals and Captain Joel!! Easy to book, fair and transparent cost, clear communication, beautiful and clean boat (bathroom on board was the best), awesome knowledgeable captain. We will definitely book again as Austin locals!

It ended up being 55°F on the day we booked our yacht but Captain Joel still helped us have a blast by finding a cove that kept us out of the wind. The speakers were loud, the large cooler kept the drinks flowing and our out of town friends said it was their favorite thing we did that weekend.

We rode in Shaken not stirred for a bachelorette party. We had 15 girls and it was amazing!!! Captain Derek treated us so well and he helped us try to extend our time because we were having so much fun. He went above and beyond to throw us a good party. 10/10 would recommend. We love him and hope to return again!

Lake Travis Yacht Rentals exceeded my expectations! They were very professional, friendly and helpful each step of the way. I had a group of 13 (Bachelorette party) and we rented the boat “Shaken not Stirred” it was well maintained, clean and ready to go! (They had a bachelorette party from the earlier booking, moments before we boarded and we would have never known… the boat was so clean).
I highly recommend when booking, to ask for Garrett he was fun, professional and a great captain and made sure we were safe! He would check in with me (host) to make sure everything was going well and would make sure that we were comfortable with the boats we linked up with.
We went over memorial day weekend.. the weekend everyone was on the water! Despite so many boats and music blasting from every boat, we were able to hear our own music from the boats great stereo system.
I could not speak more highly about our experience! This is the company to use!

We rented from Lake Travis Yacht Rentals for a group party and would highly recommend them. Jason was our captain, he was very professional and he made sure everyone had a great time and was safe. Was an amazing time. 10 of us came to celebrate a bachelor party. Jason was easy going, and made the day super fun for us. He linked us up with another bachelorette party (where he knew the other captain). Everyone said the time on the lake was their favorite part of the weekend.

His yacht is much nicer than the other boats, has a bathroom, great sound system, ample seating space in the front and back, and the floatie mat was a huge hit!

Another great time with Lake Travis Yacht Rentals! The boat is very clean and well maintained. Captain Jason and his wife, Gabi are terrific hosts and they listen to what we want to experience and as long as it’s not dangerous, they are very accommodating!

Highly recommend chartering their boat on Lake Travis if you want a fun-filled day without the hassle of how much work it is to be captain of a boat!

We had the best time celebrating my 25th birthday with Jason and Gabby on the lake yesterday! We linked with many other boats and partied the day away. After we were on the lake for four hours, I seriously thought the party just started! I will definitely be back. The yacht is nice and perfect for our party of 12 .Thanks you Jason and Gabby!
