Lago Vista Golf Course is a par 72 18-hole championship golf course that offers over 6500 yards of fun and challenging play. The course originally opened as a 9-hole facility in 1971 to help promote lot sales in the young, unincorporated neighborhoods that make up the city of Lago Vista today. Shortly thereafter, under the guidance of course designer Leon Howard, the course was renovated and expanded to 18 holes, and operated as a private country club until the mid 1990s. Today, all golfers are welcome to enjoy the undulating fairways, epic lake views, and abundant wildlife at Lago Vista Golf Course.

The course features four sets of tees to provide a fun challenge for all ability levels, a practice facility with a spectacular view of Lake Travis, and active local Men’s and Women’s Golf Associations.

We stopped here for lunch, we sampled all of the apps. I really enjoyed the stuffed avocado nachos, and the fried pickles. I highly recommend it.

Great Course, lots of nice views. Greens need work but I don’t mind the challenge. Club house has a nice atmosphere. Nice to have a spot to come for a drink or bite to eat on my way home.

When LG gets these greens up and playable, this course will be incredible. 18th home is a little anti climactic right now with the placement of the temporary green. Can’t wait to come back in about a year. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Oh, and the deer, they’re everywhere!!

I give this place 5 stars because of the staff. They are so fantastic to my entire family. The course is solid for a municipal course. Great views.

Had a great first time at the disc golf course today. The friendly folks here will get you all set up and ready for your round. Tried course A and will definitely be back soon for B. Thanks for creating these courses!

My 8 year old and I played 18 today. This place is a gem definitely! My son said it’s more beautiful than Star Ranch which was his favorite up until now. Lots of deer! Cannot wait to go back, hopefully next weekend!

I had a nice golf outing on a beautiful day. The scenery and views were great out here. Staff was friendly as well. Some of the greens were in rough shape, but other than that it was good. Would recommend to anybody looking for a casual round of 18 holes.

We came out bc we found a Groupon and enjoy golf. We live in way south austin. So we had a nice drive to the course. I thought it was ok not the worst. .. pretty views in spots. Not much shade…we only played first 9 holes. Lots of homes along course and some dude was peeing with his shirt off in his yard. Could have gone without seeing that. Luckily my 13yr old niece didn’t see it bc was busy hitting the ball. I wish I would have said something but he was in his yard….. I would play there again but idk if ill go back its an hour drive from our house.

Nice scenic views lots of wildlife and down to earth staff. Beer is cold tee times on point and greens are ok at best the elevation changes/drops make up for it in my opinion. A little out of my way so not a regular coarse for me but I do make the trip

Enjoyed my round today immensely. Some greens are under repair and some grass is in transition . We finished in less than 4 hours and got a deal on Golfnow. I’ll be back soon

Nice course layout. The course had some very interesting blind shots that were fun to play. The elevation difference on some holes were made were a great challenge. The wildlife is always fun to see too. My wife and I had a great time.

Friendly staff, lots of elevation good challenges with dog legs & blind holes. Greens a bit dry recently aeriated sanded.

Love this course! The staff are always friendly, even had a marshal stop and talk to me before I teed off on the 10th to tell me how the hole is laid out and what to expect. Would recommend to anyone

One of my favorite places to golf. This place is breathtaking. The City of Lago Vista owns the golf course, and doing a great job. Be aware that the deer do own this golf course.

Good course for the price. Wide fairways, descent greens and tons of deer. A few blind holes which are fun and there are a couple of holes that bring water into play.

Although I have to drive 40 minutes to get to Lago Vista, I consider this my home course. It is very well kept, challenging and easy on the eyes. The staff is great and the food is pretty good too. $2 beer? Nuff said…

I also want to thank the cart staff. I had one of my idiot momentsand left my new rangefinder on the cart. I didn’t realize I had left it until the next day. I called them up and they had it waiting for me in the pro shop. The fantastic staff would not let me leave a reward. That’s OK, I will make it up to them in green fees and tips
