Musical Starts, Lakeway Music Lessons, was born out of the desire to give children a positive and high quality music education from an early age. Attention is focused completely on developing the musical gifts and musical interests of every student in a fun and creative learning environment, where enthusiasm is nurtured and encouraged in every music class. It is anticipated each student will grow in confidence, creativity, responsibility, and independence during the lessons while cultivating valuable music skills. Students will develop an overall appreciation for music, and their passion for creating and enjoying beautiful music will flourish!

Marcia Liddon has been teaching music to students of all ages since 1989. Marcia discovered her love for the fine arts when she began dancing at age three. She started piano lessons at age six and added guitar and voice lessons as a teenager. Marcia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is the Music and Drama Director at the Magnolia School, Austin, TX.
