We decided to stop by for a dinner on our way back to Austin from a brewery in Marble Falls. We had been here before a couple times to sample their wine and loved the ambience of the place. We walked in without a reservation and were seated immediately, though I’m not sure what the typical wait is like. We ordered Red Fish and Filet dish along with the recommended wine and we were delighted! The filet was perfectly cooked to our liking and the fish was delicious. It would have been nice to have just sat on the patio and take our time to enjoy the meals but we were in a hurry. If you get a chance, do a wine tasting and then stay for dinner!

We were in the Lake Travis area and decided to try the bistro at flat Creek estate for dinner. What a good choice. The grounds are beautiful and the service at the restaurant was excellent. Chrissy (our waitress) was very helpful and super sweet. We started off with the focaccia bread and the brie and garlic appetizer which was excellent. Then for our entrées two of us had the redfish which was nicely done and the other person in our party had one of the pizzas which was also very good. Oh, and the wine. We ended up tasting two flights, one of white and one of red which gave us a nice sampling of their selection. Then we got a bottle of one of their red blends which we really enjoyed. All in all- a great night.

The steak was absolutely amazing. The creme brûlée is one of the best that I have ever had. Also the staff was just so nice and attentive. Alex was amazing! We will be back for sure!

Great food, wine pairing and had a good time with family enjoyed the wine tasting tour before our lunch at the restaurant. Owner and staff are very friendly and great team. We would like to come back definitely some time and highly recommend to people who like wine pairing and are food connoisseurs.
