Texas Fine Wine Annual Dinner

Join Texas Fine Wine for its annual dinner to celebrate Texas Wine Month on Friday, October 15 at Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood.

Prepared by Duchman Executive Chef Wes Bracamontes, the menu reflects seasonal Hill Country cuisine paired with exceptional wines from Bending Branch Winery, Pedernales Cellars, Spicewood Vineyards and Duchman Family Winery.
Texas is the fifth-largest wine-producing state, specializing in warm-climate grapes such as Vermentino, Trebbiano, Tannat, Tempranillo, Montepulciano and Aglianico.

Quenelle of farmers cheese on sweet corn purée garnished with fresh herbs and Texas olive oil

Course 1: Duchman 2020 Roussanne
Shrimp Aguachile: butterflied ruby red shrimp in chile salsa garnished with red onions and cilantro, served with fresh tostadas

Course 2: Pedernales Cellars 2017 GSM Melange
Grilled sweet potatoes, herb salad, preserved lemon aioli

Course 3: Spicewood Vineyards Texas High Plains Tempranillo
Harvest squash with candied nuts and seeds, whipped mascarpone

Course 4: Bending Branch 2017 Tannat, Newsom Vineyards
Seared ribeye dressed with herb relish and broccolini florets, served with a citrus gem salad

Family owned hand crafted wines from the Texas Hill Country. Our vineyard was first planted in 1992 and has now grown to 22 acres. We have many different varieties growing with an emphasis on Spanish and Portuguese grapes.
