Junior Sailing Summer Camp (8-16 yrs)

The Austin Yacht Club’s Summer Sailing Camp will provide a unique summer sailing experience for kids ages 8-16.

This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm with early drop-off and late pick-up options.

Sailors will learn how to sail small sailboats like Picos, Sunfish, Flying Juniors, and even have the opportunity to windsurf.

As the week progresses, lessons ramp up to develop skills for sailboat racing.

Through a combination of classroom learning, land activities, and water drills, our sailors gain the fundamental skills to become life-long sailors!
