Austin Texas based songwriter and band leader Gus Miller is  heavily influenced by the Outlaw and Cosmic Country sounds of the early 70’s (Gram Parsons, Jerry Jeff Walker, Waylon Jennings).

His alternative approach towards Country and Roots music is energetic, honest, and raw: conscience songwriting that emphasizes meaningful lyricism and musical proficiency.

Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to share bills with artists such as Ray Wylie Hubbard, The Wood Brothers, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Them Damn Quails, Zac Wilkerson, Jackie Venson, Andrew W.K, Tenth Mountain Division, and many others. Miller’s accolades include being a winning finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival’s 2017 university song writing competition, and also being named “Artist of the Month” by Austin Music Foundation in Jan of 2018 for his work with Light Horse Harry.

The Lucky Rabbit in Jonestown is live music, a rustic Texas-feel, fresh handcrafted cocktails, ice cold local beer & great food.
