The City of Lago Vista Parks & Recreation Department and the Turnback Canyon Trail Conservancy are thrilled to invite you to the official Dedication and First Step of the Turnback Canyon Trail!

Trailhead at the cul-de-sac of Foothill Cove (Bar-K Ranch Road)
Be among the first to explore this beautiful new 0.75-mile trail, featuring manmade steps, a peaceful tree canopy, small stream crossings, and a bridge that winds toward the scenic Lakeside at Tessera trails.

Bonus Fun! Join us for a Treasure Scavenger Hunt along the trail! Discover hidden surprises, enjoy the scenery, and make it a morning of adventure for the whole family!
Bring your walking shoes, cameras, and sense of adventure — let’s take the first step together on this exciting new path in Lago Vista!
